Not sure if it's about the optics where Hinkley's concerned. Some of the things he says are plain ridiculous and nonsensical.

Can't help myself by still going to every game but by jeez it's sometimes not worth it

I've given up singing, standing up with the 'never tear us apart' song because the original meaning is lost on me now. I feel I've been torn apart personally by what has become of the club.

Sometimes, I read what others have written here, and I am basically in tears, and they ain't tears of laughter. I share so many others pain. I am desperately hanging on.

Anyone ever go to swimming classes and you had the survival training day where you had to tread water wearing civvies and you just felt like giving in to the sheer weight of the wet clothes and drowning??? That's me now at pretty much every game. So sad. Hate it's the new norm.

You're definitely not alone. The crowd is so flat week in week out. Expecting to see a team that doesn't turn up and not letting ourselves get excited so we don't get let down.
