Lets be honest. If it was a grand final i would rather Saddington in the team than Austin. Any other game Austin would stay in but becuase its our most important game of they yer i can understand the MC's thinking. I dont agree with it but i understand

I thinks thats the reason it has occured, becuase it is such a crucial match.

This could be Saddington's final ever AFL game, as let face it he isnt good enough, so it would be nice if he played. Even though Ackland is a hack it would be good if he played as well, as i dont see many teams selling their soul to get him.

Let's be honest, if Saddo was 5 years younger we'd be clamouring for him to be in the team.

He was a gun before his injury, and it's a shame that his age is keeping him out of the team.

If he's found his way as a forward, I hope he gets into the team.

Hey mark this is a crucial game for us, i dont think your up to it, were going to put in a player who wont be here next year, hasnt played a game all year becauase we think he will be the reason we get over the line...

With or without Saddington we will win on Sat... i would much rather seeing Austin learn from his mistakes, win/ or lose than having someone fill in holes for the remainder of the year...

This has to be the reason the club have done this. Very short sighted in my view, but, is clear that we are going after a spot in the finals. Austin must feel hard done by though. He needs to starting stringing some games together at AFL level.

I think that bringing Sado in is a pretty clear indication that we will be pushing as hard as we can to play finals.

I know that we would probably win this week regardless of whether we bring in someone senior for Austin or not, however if the MC intend on playing Saddo in the following weeks it is a good idea to get him used to AFL again in a somewhat easier game....

Forgot to add that I think that he will play mostly up forward, is a handy mark and has good kicking range, better than most of our forwards sadly enough....
