I'm actually querying the "club wants to win things" angle, it's like a complete misread of the marketing considering Virgins name and logo is everywhere on thing to try and lay it at any single clubs feet. I'm honestly curious at how people came to that conclusion when this is a clear marketing angle from Virgin Australia in the Virgin Australia Film Festival to enlist a sporting code also currently in the spot light with regards to finals who like to maintain a national image above and beyond the other 4 competing sports (basketball, cricket, soccer & rugby).

Clever marketing from Virgin. Nothing like tapping into the passion of AFL supporters and enlisting their support of clubs in a competition. Great promotion for the company, as its done well and consumer (us) don't feel used by the exercise. Handy bonus of air fares to the winner. Extra bonus is the insights, fun, passion at different clubs.

FWIW I thought it was a gay video, in fact I thought Roo's dancing and lip synching was cringeworthy. I was waiting for Molly to swoop in in a pink tutu and plant one on the big boys lips.
The best part of the video was Kosi spitting water on the two so called coaches, I gave it a 2 out of 10. I would have had some Metallica rolling with half a dozen air guitars and big Ben would have been thumping out some serious vocals instead of the pre teen voice over they gave him. I also hope it's not the only thing Lewis Pierce will be famous for...having said that it was all in good fun....for a club that lost 17 games this year.

I'm not really sure why anyone would complain. Free airfares for a club not made of money for a four minute video... **** me as long as we remain tasteful I'm happy.
