Really liked the small moments I saw from Trav in his first season. I have no doubt that he will develop into a good player. He does the fundamentals very well and we saw that consistently in the midfield at VFL level.

Most importantly, he is one of the many kids we have on the list who have a bit of 'tism' about them and will leave no stone left unturned to become a great player at the level.

Lenny loves Trav. I expect he will be leaving no stone unturned to make an impact next year.

5km in 19m is very solid running, fair play to you

Was clocking 19.5 at the Albert park Park run not too long ago, not a shade on that now though

The 40 min 10km was always a goal for me

Did a 91 minute half off very little training in my twenties

But these afl boys are next level

Like it’s underestimated how good are runners they are it’s elite
Strange coincidence, I did a 91 minute 5km the other day.

Funny you should say that , my son has mates still in the elite programs after dropping out himself but the whole group have what I call sportism.

On a mega day of sport in Melbourne, the Saints could host the Magpies on Sunday night, March 8, at the MCG only hours after the Formula 1 race winds up at Albert Park.

While multiple Melbourne clubs have shown interest in the Sunday night Opening Round slot, St Kilda’s trade period plunge adding four new faces could help catapult them to the front of the queue.

Final decisions will be made over the next month, but the Saints are eager to make a splash next year with a new-look side eager to rise up the ladder after two years out of finals.

Saying he expects to be involved in some of the start of preseason and then into it fully around Christmas and is focusing on load building and making his body strong.

Thinks he is over the injury.

Took 3 different surgeries and 2 times he was on the periphery of being game ready before the pain returned. But believes the third surgery corrected the issue.

“There’s definitely a buzz down at the club”.

“**** yeah, I want to be part of it”.

Kane Corner was asked by Sam Edmund this morning about what would need a ‘pass mark’ for Maxy next year. Cornes said, just get on the ground 15 times and it’s enough. If he were to kick 28 goals, that would be more than enough considering the circumstances. Faith! Through the thick and thin!

Max turns 27 this season. He should be in his prime. I'd say 15 games for 28 goals would be very disappointing.

18 games for 40 goals for be a pass for me. Not great, but okay. 50+ goals per season should be the minimum return that we're getting from him if the final 3-5 years of his career are considered successful.

Turns 26 next July. Not 27.

The big issue is keeping him on the ground for the season with his eggshell body- we need stability, and although he can kick goals, he hasn't see much action in what should have been this prime. Hope he can get through 2026.

That’s actually precisely what would happen last time.

He could complete all activities and then randomly, like running in a straight line - the pain would return.

So they de-loaded. Loaded him back up and again it happened.

The issue needed imaging whilst under load to detect.

It’s positive we are at the end of November and he has been in rehab for a few months and nothing.
Yep Stav i knew all of that but like i said i want to see him changing direction ect at full speed before i get my hopes up

Yep he's closer to turning 24.

Say what you want about Max King's propensity for getting injured but not many blokes get 3 years younger in a day!

Blakey is a good shout. I reckon towards the end of the year he really started to just run run run. Didn’t matter if he shouldn’t or should. He was just powering through.

I have the utmost faith in Trav. We need some patience but he’ll get there imo.
He just needs to put on some size, which he's already started doing..he too needs to be patient..
