Hey, if he pulls in 8 or 9 tackles a game, that's a decent platform to start with.

In your opinion is drafting berry where we did a bit of a steal or would you have preferred others at his pickA 17 year old under-ager playing forward on occasions with a Gippsland Power midfield that boasted top age mids Caleb Serong, Sam Flanders and Riley Baldi in front of Berry for most of the season....maybe people should check his numbers when the 3 players mentioned weren't playing. Bit hard to dominate when you're 4th midfielder off the rank especially behind Serong and Flanders that went in the 1st round in 2019, Serong at #8 and Flanders at #11.PLAYERCARDSTART3Caleb Serong

Maybe get informed before just looking at raw numbers.
Would have been Gippsland Power's No.1 midfielder in his top age year if the season had gone ahead in 2020 and would have worn out the ink in the statistician's pen racking up the numbers.
He's looking a lot more physically developed than a few of the others

Hinge may be another player a lot of folk have forgotten about. And Hately.
Bleddy heck..he looks like he has had 5 or 6 preseasons.
Is it just me or does he look a bit like Craig Bradley in this photo?

He’s nailed the 2020 draft - I like every pickAnd the early indications are Hamish has hit the ball out of the Park in the 2020 draft.
I'm pretty sure in Berry's case at least he has plenty of class to go with his thirst for the contest, don't think Pedlar's too shabby in that department either on my limited exposure to him prior to us drafting him, both are 1st possession mids too.
Disagree with that last statement. He’s nailed the 2020 draft - I like every pick
he’s failed in building an AFL level midfield for time being though , we are worst midfield in comp by plenty
Hawthorn, Essendon, probably North too although if you looked at our game against them.....Who has a worse midfield?
Disagree with that last statement.
We aren't very good, but we aren't the league worst.
Who has a worse midfield?

Essendon's midfield is miles ahead and Hawthorn have a Brownlow medalist in theirs...Hawthorn, Essendon, probably North too although if you looked at our game against them.....
I'd also argue Carlton's is no better despite Cripps
Hawthorns got absolutely torched by ours.Essendon's midfield is miles ahead and Hawthorn have a Brownlow medalist in theirs...
I think most of us wanted Caldwell or Hately.is there anyone who wouldn’t swap Jones for butters?
I think Duursma at the Mchenry pick was the more obvious one and he’d be close to our best mid already ... you are correct we were happy with Jones . Not too late for him but fear he’s a confused player , not playing with any instinct or confidence like the young player he wasNope not by plenty that's an exaggeration.
in 2019 we took McAsey because we were skinny for a KPD to take over from with Talia and Hartigan all we had after Lever's defection. (Talls take time).
If I recall you and I were both keen on Chayce Jones in 2018 and with good reason on what he's produced as a junior along with his speed, endurance and athleticism...unfortunately at this stage Chayce has failed to bring it at AFL level.
Almost to a man on this board people were rapt when we took Darcy Fogarty in 2017.
In 2016 we took a midfield prospect in Jordan Gallucci who offered speed, and super athleticism...wouldn't have been my pick at that pick but he looked to be around the mark at that pick...Poholke was pick 42 after all.
Duursma was my pick, but if Ned can continue the upward trend he's shown then I'm happy to have him.I think Duursma at the Mchenry pick was the more obvious one and he’d be close to our best mid already ... you are correct we were happy with Jones . what ya think is key to him from here ? I’m running out of ideas
