In the modern draft era I honestly can’t think of anyone that can go with him, Rowell looked likely but he’s had 2 big injuries and hardly played...

Walsh, Weitering, Harry, Charlie and Cripps. If that 5 doesn’t all help lift 17 then something has gone terribly wrong IMO

All the more impressive bc he has transitioned from "young talent" to being recognized as one of the best mids in the AFL, and all the attention that brings from opposition teams yet he still gets better and better

yes it will. And it is entirely possible that Rowell flew under the radar in 2020. Especially early in the season, GCS were not rated at all , and he was not expected to perform as he did. It will be a different story when he returns
