• At Prospect the terribly out of form Andrew McIntyre will try and gain some form for North Adelaide. The soon to be delisted Ian Perrie will line-up in attack. Rookie Greg Gallman kicked 3 in the reserves last week and could be due for a recall.

• For the Redlegs there will be a host of talented Crows in action. Unfairly dropped ruckman John Meesen will play one of his last games for the Legs while future Brownlow winner Darren Pfeiffer should play across the HBF or the wing. Still searching for a recall after being unjustly dropped, the gun that is Bryce Campbell will line-up on ball and after playing his best game for Norwood last week Luke “Jezza” Jericho will attempt to make it consecutive strong games and continue to win the hearts of the Norwood faithful.

• At Glenelg Oval James Sellar could potential be recalled after another strong performance in the reserves last week. After his performance that all but got him a new contract last week John Hinge should be playing in the midfield while bus24's boy Richard Douglas will also be in action.

• At Woodville Oval Bernie "What X-Factor?" Vince and the out of favour Kenneth McGregor (for Gill; work that one out…) will be in action for the Eagles. Twig rookie James Turner and Michael “I'm gone at seasons end” Doughty will also battle it out.

Mate I guarantee you that Hinge will be a Crow in 2008. The guy has a lot of talent and he looked at home in his only AFL game. He was unlucky to suffer a hamstring injury because he could have made a name for himself had he stayed fit. He has excellent speed, a great leap and he’s pretty versatile. He’s had a lot of defensive roles this year and as a result his stats look ordinary.

I will be rather angry if he’s cut, but it won’t happen so I don’t need to worry. Hinge is very underrated on this board.

Channel 10 said that all 3 emergencies will fly to Melbourne. Does that mean they will all be unavailable for the SANFL? If so what a joke; Jericho plays 1 game, misses the next 2.

I imagine the unused emergencies might fly back friday evening once the Crows game has started or saturday morning in time to play SANFL. That's my guess. That sort of thing has happened before.

I tend to agree re: hinge, i think he will be a AFC player next year. Pfeiffer is probably closer to the cut.

Usually the emergenicies get to fly home if not required, it is a friday night game so i can't see why they wouldn't.

I thought these threads were an opportunity for us all to look at SANFL games. I think the mods here are being very lenient letting these threads stay, as there is already a SANFL board

Well for a start Pfeiffer is far, far more talented than Hinge. Yes we’re all aware of the two indiscretions Pfeiffer’s had but seriously if you retained Hinge and let Pfeiffer walk you would be shooting yourself in the foot. You need to ask yourself if we decided to get rid of Pfeiffer would any teams be interested. The answer is yes, without a shadow of a doubt. Now ask the same question for Hinge. I can’t see too many teams being interested. You don’t let talents like Pfeiffer go just because as an 18 year-old he turned up to team meetings late and as a 19 year-old he broke curfew by 20 minutes. If you think they are enough to dispose of an exceptional talent then so help us.

I stopped reading there. Not only does this topic phail, it insta-phails, perma-phails and neo-phails. Floppond should be both banned and eaten alive by attitudal rabbits while his local side Flopwood is destroyed by the Elizabeth U/10s. I have also taken the liberty of renaming this topic to its correct and 100% unbiased title (in everyone's fact).
