Save The Social Club

This is the big one for me. Hawks have always been an "asset rich" club. If this money was used to by another block near waverley and a new Social club built, then most fans would accept it is in the interests of fans and the club. The fact the no one knows what is planned with the cash is the disturbing aspect of all of this

in fairness id be more worried if they already knew what they were going to do with the proceeds, surely a lump sum as big as the sale of the social club (upwards of 3 million) requires a great deal of research as to how best to invest?

The petition was being passed around in the Social Club after the Family Day on Sunday.

Have to agree with Pess - after all of the garbage that has been spun about there being a presence at Glenferrie in some way, shape or form, we now find out that there won't be a presence there at all. NOT HAPPY, JAN!

IMHO, we have been sold out, and I'd like an explanation from those that did the deal as to why. If that means an EGM, then I'm more than happy for my hard earned to go towards it.
