Yep those sound like some very good trades/subs right there mate.. I didn't realise Trengove tore Adelaide apart. Definitely starting him over Shuey now!

Yeah he tore us apart in the second with 8-11 touches from memory, finished with mid 20s for the match high SC score as well. All from memory though, was probably in Melbourne's top 5 on the day.

Scully had a day out for those that have him as well.

Looks like Carl Peterson is th 2010 version of Beau Muston, all these silly people picking him up. With big name set to return he will be pushed out of the team.

Game 3 coming up and averaging almost 80 - thats a pretty decent cash cow in the least I would have thought.

I agree Kruezer/Brown gets my vote too.

I think Kruezer is top 2 I put him ahead of Hmac, Jamar, Seaby and The rest of that trailing pack.

I dont think Browny will be as up and down as previous years coz he pushes into the middle now, he has been getting 25 touches and heaps of I50s and a shitload of marks.

Man i love Jonno Brown.. i don't even support Brisbane but I just love the guy. The way he goes about his footy. Doesn't take any shit. Just runs around taking grabs! He will be a welcome addition to my team..

Looking at bringing in Shuey or Moles. Leaning to Moles, but there isnt really much talk about him at this point. Wondering why?? Is it because he has only played one game?? i have to do the trade this week.

Agreed. The reason Moles hasn't been talked about that much is that he may struggle to maintain a spot in the Doggies side... Seems like Shuey getting a game at West Coast is FAR more likely than Moles. I would suggest he'll be in and out depending on injuries etc..

I have a few under performers and i want to make 2 trades to improve my team...

The player I am looking at trading out are...
M.Clark
R.Gray
B.Harvey
K.Tippett

I have toyed with the following ideas..
A) Out- Gray & Clark, In- Kruezer & J.Brown
B) Out- Tippett & Clark, In- Seaby & Brown
C) Out- Harvey & Clark, In- Kruezer & J.Brown

Which option would you choose and why? Which 2 the 4 player should i persist with? And which 2 should i be getting rid of?

Option A for me.. They're the exact same trades that i'll be doing today.. If you read the above comments you'll see a few opinions on Brown, Kruez, Tippet.

Basically I personally think Tippet needs more time. When Adelaide start winning, Tippet will start scoring well.

Harvey is a silly trade out IMO. He had a shocker but you can almost guarantee that will never happen again and i predict he'll bounce back strongly this week

It's too early to trade out Waite. Give him some time to get back to his best.

I need to get JBrown into my side which of the following options is the best in everyone's opinion:
1) Joel Macdonald ----> Malceski
Kurt Tippett ----> J. Brown

2) Macdonald ----> Malceski
Robbie Gray ----> Brown

I don't really want to trade out Macdonald but i think i have to in order to get Brown. Any other options??

Yeah I feel the same about Boomer. Reports of tendinitis in Tippet's knee has me a little concerned, but i too think if he can get over that hopefully he will start to score better when Adelaide start winning, this week is a must win for them too so should be a good test, I'm expecting big things!

It has everyone concerned but I think I need another look at him,

If I was you I would be trading Harvey/Clark due to the fact that Harvey's price will plummet this week and Gray's will stay the same due to him not playing. It will give you further time to reassess the Gray scenario next week where as you will start losing money off of Harvey this week.

silly trades but if you must, option 2.
Keep J.Mac and just accept the fact that you missed out on Browny. Gray to Byrnes could be an option for you?

Definitely option 1 mate. You get to keep Gray and get Brown. Tippett will be an inconsistent scorer over the course of the season. Definitely option one.
I've made one trade, Tippett for Dangerfield and have 111,000 in the bank.

Not concerned about losing money on Harvey as I consider him a keeper, he should bounce back. More concerned about Robbie Gray's injury cloud.

I originally though Shuey for that very reason, but then i see him being played as your more small forward role which doesnt garner as many points. Moles on the other hand will play midfield when on the park. So i guess you have the trade off. Moles will likely score higher, while Shuey will get more games. I am aiming at offloading one of these players come round 8 or 9 for cash, but till then will likely be playing them as my 6th mid ( with Banner and Bastinac on the pine).

Can Moles string together the next 5 or 6 games... thats the question.

Don't trade out Sam Mitchell - he will still average over 100 points per game for the year.

Is everyone keeping Hall? I don't know about him. His pre-season form was amazing but everyone knows that doesn't translate into the real season sometimes. I think he'll have a few good games here and there but he won't be consistent. Hell probably average around 75 for the year I reckon. I might trade him for Murphy... he seems to be in top shape however he is very injury prone.

Another dilemma I have is Goodwin. I've got him in my team and he's been solid- He's scored in the 90's in both games in losing sides as well... + he hasn't really hit top gear yet. However he's under an injury cloud (corked knee) and has tendinitis in his knee as well I think. If he'd fit and firing he's a must I reckon (as seen in the 2nd half of last year). However I've got doubts as to whether he can replicate that. It's tempting to trade him because I don't have Malceski yet and I think Malceski will be pretty close to scoring as much as Goody and he'll free up nearly 300k of cash which would be amazing.

Another part of my team which I'm unsure about is David Armitage. He was shit the first week but scored 112 last week. He gets a stackload of tackles but finding the ball and getting gametime is a bit of a struggle for him because of the Saints midfield. He costs 412k, considering trading him for Johnstone (SP?).

All these are hypotheticals though and I don't want to use that many trades now. I'm sitting at 199 overall which is pretty good but I'm aware I've got to keep improving my side. Malceski is one that I really want- might even trade Kennelly for him but that might be a bit of a sideways move.

Changed my thinking a little from yesterday's Hurn-> Ladson/Hunt/O'Brien plans.

Now planning on this:

Walker-> Peterson
Hall-> Brown

Other alternatives are Medhurst and Warren, but they're a better chance of being consistent than the bigger blokes. Of course if Tippett goes down then Tex Walker will have more to do.
