Thats a much more resonable comparison.

Would love to hear Gunnar on this subject.

His well known man love of Judd, and his hating of him being compared to others.

Should make for interesting response.
I have no man-love for Juddas. Not anymore. He's a superstar, but there's no man-love. I was jilted.

But I am contemptuous of likening kids to established stars. It's silly and unnecessary.

And I think the phrase "the next whoever" is generally pretty stupid. Surely we can assess and evaluate players without dropping the name of an established gun and drawing erroneous parallels.

But this thread is so silly that I don't think I need to labour those points. I don't think I need to explain, specifically, why it's silly. I'm assuming that the author is taking the piss.

Apart from being a dead set look-alike of Judas can he reach the same heights of the great man? I think he is one of the many reason’s why we have done quite well in the last couple of weeks, I’m thinking one day he will be given a run through the midfield rather than tag as he has very good skills, quick and certainly not afraid to burrow in.

Thoughts?

What a crock of shit

Finally!!! gee it took a while :D:D

This forum has gone crapola, no wonder I'm always taking the p1ss....

He does most things well without being excellent (or poor) in any particular area - decent pace, very versatile good evasiveness and endurance, good work-ethic, accountable, good spoiler, balanced, sound disposal, poise and DM etc. Probably won't ever be a big possession winner, but I think once he gains more confidence to provide more of an offensive option at AFL he'll be a very handy medium-tall defender/utility to have in the XXII.

I think he could be a great Full Back once he gets bigger.

He is tall, has pace to burn and attacks the footy........Either Schofield or McKenzie to play Full Back when Glass is no longer our prefferred option in that position.....Thats my call.

Im suprised they were able to pick him up in the first place!! such is the magnificent amount of muscle on the lad. They would of had to get Woosh to tell him as the rest of the coaching staff would of been too scared.

Schofield should be a good thing but like a lot of laconic style players his problem will be consistency. A quick trip to the Psych and another to a Pharmacist should see his aggression levels go through the roof..and bingo another star is made.

Next Judd??? Only similarity would be if he went back east, hopefully he doesn't though.

Looks a player for the future, still only 20

Schofield is not the next jUdd and doesnt look anything like him.

McKenzie looks like Judd but when he goes near the ball its worry time.
Are you crazy? Mackenzie's disposal efficiency has been very good.

Christ who started this thread with that heading..... The only thing Schofield has going for him is his long lost brother Michael who broke out of Prisons... Please give who ever started this a 1 week suspension with points hanging over for next time

Nah I mean he just looks nervous. Judd looked confident.

Just my take on it.

Believe me I like MacKenzie - He will be a ripper. Just those ground balls before he has actually taken control of the ball he looks a bit shaky.

But game time will fix that.

Hope he keeps Pav or McPharlin quiet today (whoever he may play on)
