Just watched that bit of play where Sheed left it for Vardy. It was very intuitive. He knew exactly who was around him and what would have happened if he took the ball himself. But it didn't stop there. He kept on running into the forward 50 and received the kick from Kennedy, handballed to Shuey who passed to an unmarked JD in the square (but I won't remind you of what happened next). Sheed was outstanding and would also have been a worthy Norm Smith medallist himself.

Duggan and Shep can play some midfield at a pinch .......

The way footy is played these days ....defenders are often pushed up the ground anyways

In 2015 he played a pivotal role when Emac and Brown went down. Coincidentally they got him to stack on weight in the previous season so he would be able to play as a KPD.

In 2018 he plays a huge role in a grand final winning side after our best mid size defender goes down. Coincidentally they club got him to shed the kilos that offseason so he could play on smaller types as well.


Im not sure if he is unlucky or lucky ahaha.

I thought during 2017-first part of 18 we always played and looked better with the backline of Schofield and Gov. And then Barrass comes back from his back injury and goes beast mode. Just one of those players that knows his role and how to play it. Would sacrifice anything for the team.

He's a tough one. Thing is there's always going to be injuries, form and matchups. Maybe in this copycat league, more teams will go tall and give us more reason to play Schofield.

Didn't realise how good his first half was, immense game. The tweet didn't even show probably his most important play, where he and Gov are outnumbered 3 on 2 in Collingwood's 50 late in the game and still caused a stoppage.
