Richard Taylor and Phil Matera musta got pretty revved up last time! Come to think of it, i think some Dockers players came to blows last time too.

'Playful' Eagles fire up for the Swans

"WEST COAST tuned up for Sunday's match against Sydney with a spirited training session in wet and windy conditions at Claremont Oval yesterday.

Andrew Embley and Chris Judd had to be separated by Drew Banfield when they got into a scuffle during one drill.

And star ruckman Michael Gardiner limped off the track for treatment after hurting a foot in a tangle of legs with Andrew McDougall.

Later, the Eagles put a positive spin on both incidents.

Football manager Steve Woodhouse described the wrestle between Embley and Judd as "playful banter" and assured supporters that Gardiner would be on today's flight to Sydney with the rest of the team."

probably something we could do without, especially when we are trying to keep Chrissy happy, but maybe its just a bit of passion in the blood.

Nothing in it. Gardiner's injury though is a worry. Sydney is turning into a real tough game considering our history at the ground, the SCG not being suited to our game and injury clouds hanging over a number of key players.

It will be a good win if we can get over the top of them.
