Best of luck to the guys.

I think the lack of progress on individual and skill development was always going to hurt the prospects of those wishing to stay on, the lack of a midfield did Rock no favours either.

Exciting times ahead, perhaps we can look to 2010 with the hope that we are going be hitting targets.

Hmmm, I reckon most would be of the view that we did not lack a midfield this year in terms of personnel. I believe that next year will prove that. What we did lack was a midfield plan, hence Rock did himself no favours and the inevitable has happened.

Scott would have signalled this when he was given the job....If you want me then Im going to bring my own team in....its good to see that the board have given him the green light to put a team together......I also have a gut feeling that the one proviso from Norths perspective was that Crock stayed....

Technical term being pre-existing contract

It is unclear from the outside looking in what any of the assistants were contributing. Crocker is the only one that we can judge really. Wonder what Lamont did better than Newett, for arguments sake?

Exciting to now wait and see who we choose to replace them. According to Garry Lyon on the Classified, Leppitch could be one.

Leppitsch would be great.

Played first few years as a tall wingman then became AA KP defender and a decent KP forward. 191cm 97kg. Highly respected. Awesome fit.

Primus
Riccuito
Ross Smith
Gav Brown

Being married to a Big Footy regular and club power broker clearly saved his bacon.

What are the heights and weights of our other prospective assistant coaches? Key information right there.

Yeah thats right, he may actually be able to relate to our KP stock you know yeah, nah like Bewick has been doing. Plays tall and small, was able to bulk up. All that sort of irrelevant stuff when it comes to AFL players. But yeah get Bewick.
