I would like to open up for comment from people who have actually played with Danny in one of his Grand Final's.

What is the news from the Presidents meeting? Hearing it got quite fiery when the topic of the media for 2009 came up?

Anything else interesting come up?

Rumour is that St Kilda City has replaced there president with Phil Bayliss's daughter? Any truth to this or is this just a stunt to distract everyone from the rumours about the Cassett and Mimo walk out?

what are the big rumours there??? cassett has been cleared to doveton as it says on the sfl website under clearences and mimos going to the u.s in a few days for punting trials as has been mentioned on numerous occasions on this forum....

You cannot say the Danny along side with Gorozidis and Goosey have been up there with the best "Local" forwards going around for the past 10+ years.

Harsh to mention Gorra in that, think he played for 2/3 clubs (VFL,EB, Murrumbeena) for more than a year or 2...Not sure on Goosey??

I think that Jedi was actually Rating these players and wasn't intending on it being worded in a negative way.

Big pick up in Wilson.Our President said that the meeting was one of the best he had attended and that the SFL has finally got the house in order. "Making sound financial decisions whereas in the past jobs for the boys" was what our Pres said.

although Wilson is yet to be sighted at training, he would be a great pickup to add to the stocks.

One pickup that will also be handy is J.Attenborough from Casey which has come across with Mercoulia etc. He will add to the midfield/running halfback flank stocks that has McIntyre, Rafferty, Mercoulia, Barnes etc.

City have never spoken to Brannan ,JL will be back mid may but as far as we know the rest of the blokes who went wont be back until october/November, you should contact the rock on the wrfl site to get the mail, I suggest he would know more about Brannan than city would as he is a gun player and i doubt port would lose him

Thought Lindsay was retiredl left colts to play 1 yr with O'neill .
Hopefully it's true, Brannan has great hands

Superfreak- he hasnt trained yet, hopefully this week, he should be handy

Lindsay far from retired overseas back round 6-7 , as stated better off asking the western boys about brannans movements thats where he plays

Turko that's why we sent you over with branna, we knew the frog would be doing whatbhe could to get brannan away from the colts....lift your game turko.
Brannan is a super player, great engine and the best set of hands i have seen, any comp he plays he will dominate.

it is all sweet jase he is in safe hands i would be more worried about him coming home at all he is in great form.we have lost him for the last 3 days.and lindsay,he looks like is hiding pillows under the jumper has blowen out like nothing else too many tacos.

speaking to a couple of guys from the club they say brannan is a decent type and would fit in well as a lead up mobile marking option. be good news if he's looking at coming to city he's more than welcome

Paul Kelly actually has a kick at the peanut farm on a regular basis and is good friends with probably 2 or 3 of the club faithful that live in the stkilda area, from all reports its just a rumor, but you never know. he regularly plays fundriasers and is a strong supporter of the local community.


None of the entertainment is being "payed", its a fundraiser,get down a have a look and watch how hard people at the club work to raise a dollar its probably gonna take 15 people to man the night, if we had the coin people think do you think we would bust our ar_--- to run a function like this?

I think there are 3 local bands having a crack during the night should be good fun
