PETA pls post points for each player it must be maxed out! 13 players 39 points!
Not every new player will play!!!

A handful of those will miss out each week with players still playing on from last years team.

Which adds to the depth and competition for spots.

A great thing to have. Plus, 25 under 19’s coming into the club. Vamps should more than consolidate on their second year back in Div 1.
Another sign the comp as a whole is improving.
It’s great to see

Div 4 ammo club
Or is it premier D
Div 1 VAFA atm but Ormond are on the climb. There are Div A, B, C and then Div 1 in VAFA. It will be a close game. Ormond and Murrumbeena are about the same standard. It Depends if Scollo plays for Murrumbeena.

I can say as the treasurer, you are incorrect on a few points here but go on.........

smashed doveton in yesterday's praccy how are st paul's shaping up for 25? I can't get a read on them at all, but I think they should still play finals

Gift

I am tipping that St Pauls will be very hard to beat this year and will win the flag.

Some of their new recruits haven’t even played yet because they have had cricket commitments. The guy they have picked up from Benalla Saints in Wade King is a goal kicking gun and will dominate the SNFL and Blake Uebergang also from Benalla Saints is another who will tear the SNFL apart. Will Dwyer from the Shepparton Swans will put the "fear of god" into most SNFL midfields with his big, bodied attack on the pill. Magnificent Matty O’Brien has put on 8 kilos of muscle and if he doesn’t play for the pies vfl, he will rack up 40 possessions a game in the SNFL for fun. St Pauls also have a couple of young players who have matured that were on a par with Harry Sheezel and George Waldlaw in the juniors and these guys are about to blossom and dominate for the next 10 years. St Pauls have also stolen a couple of Ormond’s finest players as well. How St Pauls pay all these players under the cap is beyond me but old mate, Greg Tivendale as treasurer, you must do some fantastic fascinatingly creative accounting.

Who have StPauls stolen ?

Who have StPauls stolen ?
A couple of the young lads. These SNFL clubs take the boys to the pub and fill them with booze and talk them up like they are Nick Daicos and Patrick Cripps and then sign them on a "sign up" bonus immediately for signing, BANG!, $500 straight away and never on the books so the kid gets some money straight away and the SNFL club has the rights to the player for that year. Its insufferable.

You don't need to be in Mensa to understand local footy.

Most of the Mensa members are "Un-Co Dorks" who can't even kick a footy.

Murrumbeena has got me baffled. They have the best facilities going around and the local council gave them the most superb upgrade of all time but other than Nathan Scollo from De La who is a proper player, their recruiting for Div 1 has left a lot to be desired. The juniors will take a few years to develop and by them they may find themselves back in Div 2.

Your an embarrassment you make the Gun look normal

Mate, talk footy or nothin.

At least I go along to the games and not only my own club. Most of the blokes here wouldn't have seen half the teams in the local catchment area or in SNFL world.

Murrumbeena are a show to bounce straight back to Div 2 which would be a shame given the amount of coin that they have behind them. I hope them all the success possible. Because a successful Murrumbeena means the whole area will benefit as the Beena Elites have the ear of a number of layers of government through their board and patrons.

We need the numbers of young players in the area to grow.

Have St Paul’s lost Hunt,Ameet,Heynan, Purcell VFL Sandy?Big losses. King is a good outside runner.l don’t expect the Doggies to be much better than last year. They lack height at the back but they run well and are well coached!

It was the federal government who have also found another $450k down the back of the couch to give them a new lighting upgrade. Expect the odd twilight match at the Beena arena over the next few seasons

Yes, that’s what I am saying. Other teams in the catchment area are struggling to stay solvent and all levels of government are throwing money at Murrumbeena. Its not what you know, its who you know.

And clearly the Elites in the area are all associated with the Murrumbeena FC and can turn on a government money tap to get whatever they want.

That football ground is state of the art and it is a shame that the money isn’t spread over other Clubs in the region.

The St Pauls younger brigade is coming through and some of them are extremely talented. St Pauls have lost a few but the players they have replaced them with are strategically put there to maximise team performance. The only knock on them is their toughness and some of the younger ones can be roughed up and lose interest which happened a bit in the finals last year when it was wet. They are extremely well coached as well and their ball movement at times is outstanding. They set up with a plus one in defence, win the ball and spread. Precise and quick ball control and movement to a one out forward in an open forward line. We will see how far it carries them but for mine, they are early favourites this year. Of course, everything comes down to execution on the day and they couldn't find a goal in last year's Preliminary final where they had every chance.

Just a shame it’s the size of a postage stamp
