Beena beat Oremond by about 10 goals , well coached and played well, the home side had no ruck and quite a few to returnHow did Beena v Oremond go

Listen Knackers Steve and i had a great laugh about this , he kicked a couple and then did his HammyBedders, no one gives a **** if your beloved Ormond is spelt wrong. This is big footy not an English class.
Also are you going to suck off Tolongs in person today when you see him and then slag him off here after the game?
St Paul's won by a pointYes, Bedders, it was a staggering loss for the club. Ormond would be better off being able to pay players. The idea of players playing for Ormond for the glory like they did in the old days is long gone. players want $$$$$. Still it is days like this that Ormond must keep their head up.
St Pauls drew with Parkdale Vultures.
So SNFL Div 1 is about VAFA Div C standard.

Beena will be very competitive
Fantastic to have 2 local teams , a club like Oremond would be better out of the VAFA
Beena won all 4 games , the Unders 19's were very good , but i hear just enough playersI forgot this was playing out. Who won in the 19s?
Parkdale will probably go upto prem B in 2026 who St Paul’s drew with.Yes, Bedders, it was a staggering loss for the club. Ormond would be better off being able to pay players. Beena will have few 19s playing seniors they are very goodParkdale will probably go upto prem B in 2026 who St Paul’s drew with.
Chelt beat Hampton who are new to prem B in 2025, which may mean they’ll be near the bottom.
Murrumbeena beat Ormond who are confident to go deep in D1, which means they are a likely C team in 2026.
I’d suggest SFNL is like somewhere in the range of prem B which is much improved over the last couple of seasons.
At best, as you have indicated, the best teams in the SNFL are bottom of Prem B/top of Prem C in the VAFA.Parkdale will probably go upto prem B in 2026 who St Paul’s drew with.

Well, it might be possible that there is an amalgamation of Murrumbeena and Ormond in the future. That could be what these praccy games are sowing the seeds for in the future. There just isn't enough players or money in the area. And with Indians and Chinese coming into the area, the football producing population is being diluted. As you have said yourself Bedders, there are far too many teams in the small Bentleigh catchment area and at some stage, through natural attrition, there will be amalgamations or one teams taking over from the other team as we have seen at under 19 level where Ormond have taken on board about 7 or 8 of the St Pauls under 19s and Glen Eira have no future at all without a junior or under 19 program.Beena will have few 19s playing seniors they are very good
Ormond as i posted had a few out who will make a difference , it was a good day with both clubs getting on well on and off the ground , pity it can't be permanent , you never know what will happen , always rumours of Beaumaris and Parkdale leaving for the SFNL
that's not what the St Pauls Instagram says, they say it was a draw. But it is a praccy game so who really cares.St Paul's won by a point
Yeah fair enough it's just that at the end of the game, on the scoreboard it had St Paul's up by a pointthat's not what the St Pauls Instagram says, they say it was a draw. But it is a praccy game so who really cares.

But you were at Ormond !Cheers Chumba, it was a great game and both teams will do well this season. St Pauls are a real chance to win it all. Good luck to you and yours.
Thats right Bedders, I was at the Murrumbeena/Ormond game, but I talk to my St Pauls mates, and they give me a low down oof what is going on around the grounds. But you were at Ormond !
Div 1 VAFA atm but Ormond are on the climb. There are Div A, B, C and then Div 1 in VAFA. It will be a close game. Ormond and Murrumbeena are about the same standard. It Depends if Scollo plays for Murrumbeena.

I can say as the treasurer, you are incorrect on a few points here but go on.........
smashed doveton in yesterday's praccy how are st paul's shaping up for 25? I can't get a read on them at all, but I think they should still play finals
Gift
I am tipping that St Pauls will be very hard to beat this year and will win the flag.
Some of their new recruits haven’t even played yet because they have had cricket commitments. The guy they have picked up from Benalla Saints in Wade King is a goal kicking gun and will dominate the SNFL and Blake Uebergang also from Benalla Saints is another who will tear the SNFL apart. Will Dwyer from the Shepparton Swans will put the "fear of god" into most SNFL midfields with his big, bodied attack on the pill. Magnificent Matty O’Brien has put on 8 kilos of muscle and if he doesn’t play for the pies vfl, he will rack up 40 possessions a game in the SNFL for fun. St Pauls also have a couple of young players who have matured that were on a par with Harry Sheezel and George Waldlaw in the juniors and these guys are about to blossom and dominate for the next 10 years. St Pauls have also stolen a couple of Ormond’s finest players as well. How St Pauls pay all these players under the cap is beyond me but old mate, Greg Tivendale as treasurer, you must do some fantastic fascinatingly creative accounting.

St Pauls are equal favs with Chelt and Dingley and based on the players they have picked up, there is no reason to think they won't be playing deep into the finals, the rest is up to them.
If he plays enough games, Matty O'Brien will finish top 3 in the league b and f at minimum.
As for paying players, the whole system is a sham.
Look at the results last year.Equal favs what are you smoking?
