3 weeks for winding a bloke…..this game has now become a farce.
I'd seriously prefer a Saudi-funded rebel league to form as a **** you to the AFL. Hopefully the class action lawsuits bankrupt them.

Honestly, my passion for the AFL has been waning for a while. It doesn't feel like we will ever get to a point where we are given a fair go and the administrative side of the game is ruining the spectacle.

I'll stick out this year as I've already paid but will probably be my last. I've got my first kid on the way so maybe in a few years I'll start taking him to the SANFL instead.

The "potential to cause injury" can be used however they want.

Tribunal: "We believe it had a potential to cause injury"
Defence: "How?"
Tribunal: "We believe it did"
Defence: "What about these examples that we compare it to?"
Tribunal: "You can't compare incidents"

That's it, basically.

Now they can just suspend players for any amount of games based on some nebulous potential injury.

It is now truly a Kangaroo Court without any care to equity for the player.

This could cost them thousands of memberships on an ongoing basis.

Haven't been watching tonight's game, but has there been any big bumps to the body resulting in no injury?
Curnow hip and shouldered Zac tuohy in the head in a marking contest/collision.. tuohy fell backwards and smashed the back of his head on the ground pretty hard.. had to come off.. not sure if they did a HIA..

Can of worms officially opened IMO.

You could literally attach "Potential to cause injury" to any football action. It's now just a matter of perspective from a obviously corruptible system.

Tackle a player: Potential to cause injury
Spoil a mark: Potential to cause injury
Go in for a ground ball: Potential to cause injury

Guys, I feel like I should be suing the AFL and/or Tribunal panel. They have the potential of raising my blood pressure, potentially leading to blood pressure complications. The end result is, I could be potentially dead or potentially have long lasting depression where I’ve lost my love for the game of footy. The potentials are endless, do I have a case to sue?

Yeah Motlop hit Dekonning with his shoulder running past and got him high
Had the potential to knock him out by centimetres... surely 5 games. ;)
