He was?

He kicked 32 goals in his 2nd year & was a key part of a GF side. Clueless.

I think he kicked 24 in his 2nd year? (clueless?), 1.3 a game, 36 in his 3rd, 1.4 a game. Not bad at all, descent even, but I question how key 10 possesions a game really is?

Do you think he has had an elite career Gibbs won't match?

Otherwise yeah, early on he was a fitness freak being held out of the midfield because he was so tough and awesome....

Didak will probably go down as Collingwood's greatest HFFer behind Daicos & Fothergill when his career is done. Add another flag & AA selection & Gibbs will be flat out trying to match his career.

You aren't very smart are you? I'm still trying to figure out how Didak was a liability in 02/03.

I said almost a liabilty, Einstein. He was lazy and lacked commitment and wasn't able to play anywhere but the FP because he wasn't fit enough, so he ran around and touched the footy twice a quarter.

He was as close to almost being a liability in 02/03 as Hawthorn were of contending for the flag in 2010.

Won a final off his own boot against the greatest post war side & kicked 3 goals in a GF in his 2nd full year. Again, clueless.

Shane Ellen kicked 5 in a winning GF in his "2nd" season.

did you know Wellingham is 19th in total skill errors with 54 which is bad for how many touches he gets.

-Wellinghams most ever Disposals is 26 compared to
Gibbs 45

-Wellinghams most disposals 26 and Gibbs had 24 kicks in a game. he also had 26 handball in a game.

- Did you know Gibbs has higher totals in
Disposals, Kicks, Handballs, Marks, Tackles, Goals, Clearance, 1st poss, Inside 50, Rebound 50, Contested and Uncontested, and even 1%ers.

Wellingham has higher totals in Frees against and behinds

Collingwood Fans think Wellingham is better then Gibbs.
Wow I love this!

u should compare all the career stats Didak vs Gibbs
and it is very interesting to see how close they really are except I did notice Gibbs is only 21 and Didak 27, Gee and i thought Didak was good, maybe he is over rated or gibbs under rated.

This has to be the most pathetic poll ever done!
Gibbs vs Wellingham + Wellingham and then we would have a close one.

are you an idiot?

how many many players average 20+ disposals bludging on the HB line? heath shaw averaged 20+ last year and he gets tagged FFS, he also would have more metreage than gibbs, run and bounces and is the better defender.

do you think heath shaw could average 25 touches a game and kick 40+ goals?, do you think gibbs could? didak gets a hard tag every week, gibbs doesnt.

and with your wellingham "did you know stuff", how about breaking tackles, stepping up in big games, one on one ability, toughness, courage, also, wellingham rarely handballs, he mostly kicks, thats why he has a low efficency %, although he isnt a great kick.

play wellingham as a spare man in defense/HB and you'll see his number skyrocket as well.

Yes call me a idiot,
so Disposals, Kicks, Handballs, Marks, Tackles, Goals, Clearance, 1st poss, Inside 50, Rebound 50, Contested and Uncontested, and even 1%ers dont count because they are easy disposals if you play Half back. it is not like reading the play, or footy smarts come into it now, cant be because Gibbs is not a Collingwood player.

Luke Hodge and Brendon Goddard say hi.

OK please tell me how many tackles he broke, how tough and how courageous he is.
well maybe Gibbs does not have the toughness and courage of Wellingham, But he has the brain, he knows how to get the pill and dare I say use it better to.

1 more stat Wellingham averaged 13.5 touches in his 4 final games in 2010.

This is great :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Keep up the good work guys!

Collingwood fans now trying to justify HBF get more possessions then Midfielders. They really are brainless and pathetic.

In fairness to him I think he copped an injury against Carlton late in the season and they changed his role up a bit once he came back. Good on the page back, post 281 is really all that needs to be said, I truly don't even understand why Collingwood supporters are bothering.

One's a versatile, ball winning, premiership midfielder; the other is an outside receiving, squib half back flanker. Wellingham is too busy winning his team premierships to sit back on the half back flank, picking up worthless stats so his selection at number 1 reduces from pathetic to laughable.

This polls discussion perfectly represents Carltons fall from powerhouse to minnow. Fantastic stuff.

A number of posters need to read the rules again.

Squib, hack, soft, etc. May be the insult to a players ability that you're looking for to win an argument, but it's just going to get you a card.
