Man Sheppard looks like Nicoski. If those two blokes are both playing off the HBF it's going to be frickin' hard to tell them apart.

Yeah, he said WC would pick Mora, I took him up on that as it was weeks out from the season even ending, let alone from the draft, figured there was a lot of water to go under the bridge between then and now. This was when WC was below Freo too, so he may not have counted on our run towards the end.

This is a huge call but I see a fair bit of Steve Johnson in Weedon
Took me a while, but I finally figured it out. I think with Sheppard the team hopes we've pikced up a Joel Corey type. If he grows another inch and fills out, there's no reason that Sheppard can't develop into a Joel Corey around the ground utility midfielder or half back. Of course he has to spend a bit more time playing midfield/wing, but the potential is there, particularly with his poise and kicking.

I think Brad Sheppard will be similar in playing style to Brad Sheppard..
Definitely a Corey Enright type. Half back with excellent disposal who can play on the wing while locking down an opponent.
Joel Corey is an midfield accumulator with average to good disposal and Sam Fisher is a big bodied rebounding defender who can play CHB.

Good pick up, Smith, Hurn, Sheppard should be some pretty good run from the backline. Whats the chances of a Pick #7 rising star?? he seems keen to play from round 1, has had experience against men. If he impresses in training and gets a birth he could get under the radar as opp coaches concentrate on blocking Hurn and give us some drive out of defence??
