I'm not sure what Terry's contract status is, but even if he's still contracted in 2009, the Tiges can still pay him out and get a new coach. Terry's gameplan at Tigerland in 2008, is basically to push huge numbers behind the ball, and setup attacking plays from defense using the advantage of numbers to generate run with a heap of uncontested possession. Players like McMahon were specifically recruited with this type of uncontested high-possession gameplan in mind. It sometimes works, but fell apart in a screaming heap on Saturday V Blues when Ratten made the Tiges players accountable, and all of a sudden they had to win contested ball which they were surprisingly bad at. Not only did Terry not have a plan B, but it appears many of the Tiges players have been poorly prepared for tough physical contests. IMO the Tiges need a new coach and a fresh start.
