**** the sugar coating on here is spew worthy after yet another game we’ve lost we should’ve won this year.

Was a teeeible performance too. We lost to an out of form Adelaide that lost Tex early and butts too.

A midfield of Sam Berry, Peatling and Soligo destroyed our much hyped midfield. It’s hard to fathom.

We should have pressed home our advantage in the second quarter but just meandered after the two early misses,

That left the door ajar for them.
Those shitty misses, could have honestly shut the door.

Eagles by 2
Hawks by 3
Crows by 1
Could even chuck Saints by 14 in there for good measure

What like 20 points down a quarter through the last. Didn’t do a classic Hinkley era relent and turn it into a 40 point loss. Big experience and moments for Whitlock, Berry, Lai (whom when the camera panned to our bench i was thinking wtf is he doing there hes been one of our best backs).

Carr looked so visibly pissed he immediately turned his back after the showdown medal was announced and fkd right off out of there. This gives me so much more hope than anything ive seen this year on or off field. While Kenny (still is) would be waiting to get facialed by Nicks and have a laugh with the lads because showdowns are the best someones gotta lose etc.

In reality who cares about these 4 close games right in this moment. We arent close to playing in a grand final right now. We have way too much autism in our side such as Sweet belting the ball from a centre bounce stoppage, The crows hitting it to wines knowing he would fk up in the third, Durdin not sticking that tackle, Evans and Wehr standing around like seagulls, Marshall trying to impersonate elijah hollands. Somehow the crows also managed to shut down our prime ball users in richards and farrell by winning the hard ball, manning up and applying pressure when we had it so credit where credits due.

What we currently are though are learning and as time comes these results will be reversed.

New system new learnings new carr
Great post

The push in the back to deny Milera’s goal was there but it doesn’t get paid 99 times out of 100

I missed that call because I had run headfirst into a wall after Sweet chose to kick a precision pass across goal and turned the ball over. You got away with it last week Jordan. Save it for when we're 50 points in front.

A great 3 weeks would have been winning 2 or 3 of those games.
3 weeks ago if you had told me we would lose by 3 points to Hawks with a kick after the siren missed, smashed Geelong and 1 point loss to the crows (who let’s face it are at their contending stage while we are at the start of our rebuild) I would had been happy af

They had 2 rotations down for 3 quarters , coming off a 5 day break with a second string side out there and won territory all night. We shouldn't have even got that close. What world are you in? You can't compare it to last years games. Any half decent side beats the crows tonight by 10 goals. We are still a rabble.

Fmd you're a peanut. We've played hawthorn, Geelong and Adelaide in 3 weeks, and we're 2 straight kicks away from winning all 3. A month ago we looked like a bottom 4 side.

As I said up-thread, that’s why I was unsurprised by his braindead thump into space at the last ball up.

Thats not a second string Crows side you troll.

They're nearly full strength. Keane for Borlase is a nothing change when Borlase is allowed to scrag just as much as Keane does.

Its just Dawson and Fogarty that's missing.

****ing second string side? Thats more like what we're rolling with injury.

Never understand why our midfield is so hyped. They're beaten by trash every week

We should have won that when we hit the front late, probably didn’t deserve it though. So annoying to lose to them.
We should have won that because they had no for players left. But once again we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory instead of he other way round

What’s the difference between finishing 11th and 17th this year? It just hurts our draft bidding. If we only win a handful of games, but finish with a percentage around 100% that would be a phenomenal result for us.

We are not challenging for finals this year, so yes wins are irrelevant. Competitiveness and effort aren’t.
You want a medal for participating as well?

What world beaters did you think we had out there? We had more first choice players miss today than they did.

Never trust em. Was always the case under Hinkley, but I feel like Dew and Carr will be wise to that.

It was a poorly directed pass but Bergman was more responsible for the turn over. We had it completely covered.

Jones had done brilliantly sheparding the Crows player away from the ball, and Bergman just had to come and pick it up. Instead he stood back and watched the ball get up to Jones. It was really poor play.

0 and 4 in close games this year. I knew we’d find a way to lose when we came back from 4 goals down to hit the lead with 40 seconds to go.

What’s our deal in showdowns? It’s like we write the fairytale scripts for the crows.

Would’ve been better off getting thrashed than doing that
This “sport” is pretty much WWE and we are the blokes taking the pin

Poor third quarter where we couldn't move the ball at all, but we're getting there.

Defense stood up again. Like last week, a lot of fumbles and fluffed handballs, only this time the crows had the numbers around the ball to make us pay. Whitlock and Berry with some big moments!

Especially when it’s the crows. I cannot for the life of me work out how the crows mids have their way with us so often. It’s flipping embarassing. Their only decent mid wasn’t even there.
