Simpson has been great but his form over the last three games has been drop-worthy. Jumping straight into a Geelong's back when going for the mark when he didn't need to was hilarious. And seriously, a beard does not make you a worse (or better) footballer. He probably just needed to be able to take some hard hits without having his jaw broken. Now that's out of the way, he'll have his confidence back and will be able to contest harder.
