My game just froze. It was sad. Luckily I had just walked into Whiterun so it autosaved :thumbsu:

Also, quick question. With the side quests, is anyone not getting any quest markers in cities like Whiterun? Is it completely up to you to find the person you are looking for?
Looked around all of Whiterun looking for a guy who had been hitting on some woman, and when I look for other people, no quest markers anywhere. Only for the main quest.

and lol @ some Nord's sounding like Arnold Schwarzeneggar.

Every bloody person you talk to gives you a side quest! It's crazy. My log is so full already. Now i've gotta go find all these people :(

This is the kind of thing that intimidates me with these types of games. The unheard amount of sidequests that build up and also the skill builds etc there looks to be so much to choose from its just so confusing :(

9.5 from IGN.

It's difficult to ever feel completely satisfied with a play session of Skyrim. There's always one more pressing quest, one more unexplored tract of land, one more skill to increase, one more butterfly to catch. It's a mesmerizing game that draws you into an finely crafted fictional space packed with content that consistently surprises. The changes made since Oblivion are many, and result in a more focused and sensible style of play, where the effects of every decision are easily seen. Featuring the same kind of thrilling freedom of choice The Elder Scrolls series is known for along with beautiful visuals and a stirring soundtrack, playing Skyrim is a rare kind of intensely personal, deeply rewarding experience, and one of the best role-playing games yet produced.

9.0 Presentation
An elegant menu system and a huge amount of story content to dig into. Bugs and stability issues do exist, however.

9.5 Graphics
Stunning environmental detail make exploring Skyrim all the more rewarding. Some character models and animations look unnatural.

10 Sound
An incredible soundtrack and great sound design help make Skyrim feel like a real place.

9.5 Gameplay
Though the up-close weapon combat is still awkward, customizing your character and conquering all Skyrim's challenges is consistently satisfying.

10 Lasting Appeal
A game of staggering size and filled with content, so there's always a reason to return.

OVERALL 9.5

Guys I'm new to Elder Scrolls games just got a simple question.

I dropped like 100 weight worth of stuff before, does that stuff stay in the exact same spot or does it disappear and respawn where it was originally?

Stays in the same spot. But it may be easier for you to put it in a container (drawers, cupboard, barrel etc - pretty much anything you can look in), so you can pick it all up in one go or just scroll through the list.

Geez, they aren't joking when they say the path of 7000 steps. **** that took a long time.

Has anyone found a solution to the no quest markers for the side quests? I have so many, but just dont know where the hell to look for any of them.

Yeah was a long time up the mountain, last night after finishing up at high hrothgar i saved and decided to try jump off the cliff and try run in midair using the whirlwind sprint.

Did not run.
Did die, was quite funny.

Geez using the horse saved me a lot of time however, as it is a nice long hike from whiterun-vrastead-the monastery.

Will do the jurgen windcaller quest tonight.
Cant remember what i rolled but ive found magic really effective early and have been using the draugr overlords axe in one hand and magic the other.

First time playing the game and couldn't stop last night from 6-11.
so happy i bought it,

Definitely :thumbsu: in regard to the horse. I stole it from Whiterun, and im so glad I did. Can't imagine how long it would have taken on foot. I went around the long way  past Helgen.

Can you customise your horse? Armour etc

I am tempted to steal that horse hanging around the stable, we'll see.

There might be some sort of DLC for it at a later time. I stole the one at the stable, it is definitely worth it. Just make sure no one sees you :p

Clairvoyance is a very helpful spell. Recommend getting it from the guy in Riverwood (i think).
Finally figured out how to find the side quest people. It shows the general vicinity on the map, then you can just use clairvoyance.
