Exactly!whats the point of an appendix anyway?
Pickles are an important part to a burgers composition.Exactly!
If you just take them out and are A-ok what's the point of them?
They're like wisdom teeth. Or pickles in McDonald's burgers.

Like say Jack Youngblood http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...-flashback-friday-jack-youngbloods-broken-legI reckon Sloane would poll very highly if players in the league were asked "Bloke you would most like next to you in the trenches"
Early odds are in for Tony Greene punching Sloane in the said appendix area: $1.40.
A grub of the highest order.

There's actually 2 different issues to consider:
1. Will Sloane make it in time to recover prior to the first bounce of QF? The answer is a high probable.
2. During the few days off needed to recover, will Sloane be able to run smoothly and to get the touch fitness needed to play a QF? This is the main question the coaching staff needs to address. What point is a midfielder if he can only play 50% TOG?
People keep comparing Sloane's case to Betts', but these are different types of players. Eddie just needs to lurk around goals and doesn't need to run marathons....whereas Sloane does need to run marathons in a typical game!
I'm still backing him in...4 days to recover post-op, 4 days to regain fitness, and then play on the 9th day! Come on Rory, you can do it!![/QUOTE]
+1Exactly!

What have his good looks have to do with it?So has he re-signed? Surely any club worth its salt would have signed him up while under aesthetic.
You forgot somethingI heard Sloaney had a gut pain so he cut out his appendix with a rusty butter knife, tied up the colon with a piece of barbed wire and used an industrial stapler to close the wound cauterizing it with gunpowder from a 12 gauge shotgun shell like Rambo did....but without the scream. He then proceeded to go for a 10K run on hot coals before a weight session.
He'll Play!
In regards to the pickles comment - i was going to hit the report button, but i didn't.Exactly!

I made a response stating my opinion that it's 50/50 on Sloane in 9 days. The problem is that it depends on who you ask, they're likely to give different responses. For examples:
I mostly do it because no one wants to shareI feel like I don’t even know you
Need to update your whipping boy. I like the current McKayMackay would still be available.
