2. then it is agreed - a printed guernsey, framed and personalised is the gift. Does everyone agree that us supporters should fork the cost involved in making it happen - or try and hit the club up for a freebie?

3. i also think that for the framing of the jumper - that perhaps the guernsy should be cut in half - one half the front - the other the back- with a number six on the back part - with yellow writing on all the printing.

4. where the yellowsash is - i think it would be nice for a hand written message with a magic marker - something classy, poetic and appreciative of Grahams work with the club - thoughts from the 5 other group?

5. Also = RFC - i still like the idea of havingsome sort of card with it - made by yourself - inside it would be great if we can just have a small message like the one below - a print up of all the full names of everyone who has left a message or put in. look below for a sample

1. What do you need done in terms of this? Do you mean the type onto the jumper itself?
2. Depends on how much we raise. I don't mind either way.
3. Sounds good. Depends on how much we raise. This would be a massive frame thus a higher cost.
4. This maybe should be printed on the jumper with a scripted font.
5. Card size would be regular card size if thats the case. What you've written, I think, is just about perfect. I was thinking of having that phrase and then in a lower opacity font, have a list of the names of everyone in the background.

Let me know what you think. By the way, does everyone (6 or 7 of us) have access to the 'Corner Hotel'? Maybe we could have this thread moved in there instead of having to PM (except for email addys etc)?

What we have to do is;

1. Find out of the RFC will donate a number 6 jumper to us.
2. Find out how much it would cost to print on the jumper.
3. Work out how many messeges we can fit on it.
4. Work out frame cost (if thats what we want).

Better if we buy the Richmond jumper outright then everything is from us. As said i will make the bank details available from today

From my point of view, I agree that we should look to cover ALL costs ourselves. Much better.
Sounds like you will be in a position in the next day or so to understand this total cost so once that is known & you also have a feel for the shortfall in $ (if any) let the rest of us know and we can dig deeper perhaps.

i think TTT plan for the printing sounds great - i personally think we should not ask the club for a freeby on the jumper - as i think this will be a nicer touch if we can arrange and pay for this whole thing ourself

Also - i think it may be neccesary for us selcted 6 to give phone numbers of each other - especially once we are dealing with everyones money. It will be very useful also for all you melbourne loacte people - as you very well will probably have to either meet up or arrange something when it gets close to finalization.

The artwork to go on the jumper, so the look of the message. I can do the artwork design, you guys can check to approve it. Once everyone is happy; then I will go ahead with screen printing.

Will only cost me time and a few coldies that I am more than happy to provide.

Just would need the jumper given to me.

You would have to ask astro that i am only getting the jumper paid for and to set up all the bank details. I would think we would know about the messages tomorrow at some stage i would think. Updates will be given once we all know. WE also have to work out the best time to give the gift to him and how lol. I will have the jumper in my hands by lunch time monday as i go to puntroad or AFL store knox one of the 2.
