I have the odd can of coke or cup of tea, but never enjoyed coffee (tried it in Colombia, Kenya, Italy, from right at the source to cafes in Melbourne, just don't like it. But like other similar flavours (i.e. Stouts and dark chocolate).Been caffeine free sunce July 17 last year. Best decision ever
These providers could easily separate scenes to pull out if triggering on request. Shawshank redemption can be triggering. Even The simpsons is darkI have the odd can of coke or cup of tea, but never enjoyed coffee (tried it in Colombia, Kenya, Italy, from right at the source to cafes in Melbourne, just don't like it. But like other similar flavours (i.e. Stouts and dark chocolate).
At my office there's just lemmings everywhere following each other down lifts and escalators to coffee purveyors. It looks quite sad and robotic.
I'll take a gutter-stomp over a cringey foot-in-mouth scene any day. They make me physically recoil. I also think much of the violence and fight scenes are pointless and gratuitous, but it's a visual medium, people are going to push those boundaries. American History X needed to show the violence. Fine line between violence and trauma, though, and different for all people.
These days it shouldn't be so hard for streaming content to include violence-free versions, like the airline versions of these films. Nothing like watching Bond start sweet-talking a lady then nek-minnit, it's breakfast.
It's hilarious that words give you anxiety.Lol Ula you think it's funny that I dislike violent imagery?!![]()
Wow way to insult and downplay someone else's triggers. It's hilarious that words give you anxiety.
Don't you work in a hospital? like a psych ward or something? It's hilarious that words give you anxiety.
Lol. I could say the same about your use of "anxiety".Wow way to insult and downplay someone else's triggers.
Lol. Medical wards primarily. Where elderly patients recovering from broken hips after a fall suffer anxiety attacks when physios come to get them on their feet again.Don't you work in a hospital? like a psych ward or something?

I’m the same, and I’ve become progressively worse with age, not better. There was a time in my life where I was able to enjoy Thrillers and even agreed to go to The Lovely Bones for a date . And I still tolerate fiction better than non fiction . I’ll avoid looking at details on gruesome crimes etc as it’s a recipe for a nightmare that night.Violence gives me anxiety - it's why I feel uncomfortable watching crime shows and don't read crime novels. Actually I've read the Da Vinci Code, not so bad, however I re-read Angels & Demons a few years back and felt a bit sick. I forgot how graphic some of it was.So yeah, I'm not apologising for your song making me feel uncomfortable.
As for mine, well they aren't even using autotune like many artists now... and the song is pretty uplifting. Each to their own![]()
She meant anxiety alright and it truly is a trigger for some, but I suppose you wouldn’t necessarily know that by reading itLol. I could say the same about your use of "anxiety".
When did "sticks and stones..." become irrelevant?
Speaking of medical wards, I met an old boss who now works at a public adult medical hospital today and therefore found myself on a medical ward of said adult hospital as a visitor . New territory for me. And it’s a different perspective compared to being a patient or a staff member . It made me miss the colour/youth of both children’s hospitals I have worked at haha .Lol. Medical wards primarily. Where elderly patients recovering from broken hips after a fall suffer anxiety attacks when physios come to get them on their feet again.
Occasionally in a psych ward where nobody's ever been admitted after reading a Stephen King novel.![]()
As an arachnophobe, I'm sure Charlotte's Web has sent many a sane human to the funny farm though....right? RIGHT?Lol. Medical wards primarily. Where elderly patients recovering from broken hips after a fall suffer anxiety attacks when physios come to get them on their feet again.

It's kinda funny that four is four letters.Words don't give me anxiety but I absolutely hate four letter words. They definitely trigger me. If a song has too many swear words in it it's getting my billy.

You're all good, that was five letters.I don't fking like violent words (sorry rask), how hard is that to understand?! I've read The One and the story about Chris the serial killer was some of the most uncomfortable stuff I've ever read in my life, it was genuinely triggering for me to read. Learn some freaking empathy.
