You'll all be very happy to know there is a very good player not spoken of in the media close to coming to the crows, The other club will hopefully agree to allow thr trade in the last few days of TP, They are happy to come here, and would be a 5 year deal if goes through. Dawson, Rankine, Soligo, Peatling, Curtin, Draper, Rachele in the league side is a good start.

With in the reserves Berry, Pedlar, Edwards, Dowling, Taylor, Jones

I think we need a transitional big body - like a Steele - and a speculative youngster who needs opportunity - there's been plenty mentioned. The big body helps us with Curtin, Draper and Soligo getting more rotations, but we want someone gone by 2028, not on a 5 year deal

The gap is the zac bailey type at the CBA, taking the ball in mid flight off the tap of ROB or the opponent ruck. Traditional ruck rover work. Even ground ball at the CBA I not that worried with Dawson, Soligo, Rankine, Rachele but none read it off hands at high speed. Rachele is the closest.

They traded up picks for Rozee, and traded for JHF .....so IMO they're trading exercises not drafting

Like, outside of Rozee, Butters, Wines and Houston who defines Port as superior Drafting ?

They traded up picks for Rozee, and traded for JHF .....so IMO they're trading exercises not drafting

Marshall, SPP and Drew all taken after Gallucci.
Bergman and Georgiades taken after McAsey.

Sinn looks like an expensive flop for them though.

Not meaning to be difficult ....but the type of player we need to add, seems to change daily, based on the latest rumour .....none of whom have similar attributes

Dawson's major talents are absolutely wasted big time playing the bash and crash inside mid role, one only had to look at his late season form to see he was banged up from all the hits.
Edwards is a tall mid but you'd hardly call him big bodied and he'd have to be being developed as a midfielder which doesn't appear to be the plan when we have top up Jay Boyle leading the midfield rotations outside of Schoenberg etc in the Snaffle.
