If the club genuinely think Mitchell is the answer they may as well shut the doorsA poor man’s Matt Crouch.

*1 brownlow vote.George Stevens (189cm 100kg) is from the same draft as both Charlie Edwards and Oscar Ryan and has played 2 AFL games more than both Edwards and Ryan combined including a 21 disposal 8 clearance (4 centre clearances), 2 goal assist, 5 i50's, game high 14 score involvements, 342metres gained, @85.7% disposal efficiency, a goal and 2 Brownlow votes in a Finals contending team. What's to lose with a 3rd rounder likely getting it done.
The very fact Scorpus isn't here says a lot..
My bad, wouldn't expect there would be many that got Brownlow votes on debut?*1 brownlow vote.
YesDon’t think he has the smarts or tank to be a AFL midfielder.
Knows where the goals are though. Focus on that. He can be a 30 plus goal kicker.
At best he pinch hits at the centre bounce.

Surely if Rowbottom cost a second round pick we would look at it. Would easily improve our squad.
Fair enough. I agree it's annoying. I just think is different to trolling. And honestly, more entertaining than a troll.I beg to differ. Saying something is going to happen during trade week to a football focused forum is very emotional and done with intent to cause a reaction.

Media will be let know Tuesday afternoon
The midfield opposition of Toby Nankervis, Tim Taranto, Jacob Hopper, Dion Prestia and Jack Ross doesn't read as too shabby to me. 8 clearances, 4 of them centre clearances against that oppo is actually pretty impressive I'd have thought along with 14 score involvements?Note many.
https://lincolntracy.com/blog/brownlow-votes-on-debut Has a list up until 2023 - Sheezel is one that gets added to it in 2023, not sure if there were others.
I think the brownlow should be getting less value placed on the importance of what they mean. Coaches votes as an example he didn't get one when 6 other Geelong players did. Regardless, he obviously had a strong game (regardless of the opposition) and might be worth a look at little to no cost. Just wouldn't have him being instantly best 22 if we were to get him like some might on here.

Also the sallaries are not big enough vs the other sports. Fine to make a man pack up and move his family for 30M a year. But when these guys are on 200... hard to do thatCosting a 2nd round pick doesn't mean anything. If he doesn't have any interest in Adelaide you can offer 2 first Rounders and it won't make diddly squat.
This is where I'd love clubs to have the power to trade contracted players like they do in other professional sports. Would make trade period all the more fascinating ... and we wouldn't have the issue of Victorians never coming to Adelaide to play.
Will never happen thanks to the AFLPA but would be great.
Not needed from a crows perspective to be successful either, we're basically the defacto state team, look at all the SA players that have been publicly available in the past there's oodles of them, we just had administrations that didn't want to pay emAlso the sallaries are not big enough vs the other sports. I think you need to remember, this board for a long time, fawned over redhorse ....hung off their every word, and tagged the poster incessantlyI beg to differ. I have done that for significantly less, twice. You go where the work is.Also the sallaries are not big enough vs the other sports. Fine to make a man pack up and move his family for 30M a year. But when these guys are on 200... hard to do that
You cant be serious......They have options like get a real jobAlso the sallaries are not big enough vs the other sports. Fine to make a man pack up and move his family for 30M a year. But when these guys are on 200... hard to do that
Women's cricket commentary...Reminds me of that old bit of cricket commentary, "the bowlers Holding the batsmans Willey"
Most trade periods the deals are left to the last hour.Would this be the most awkward trade period?
I think there is too many big deals to be done too late.
Alot is bottlenecking and I speculate a few clubs like crows are holding out for a bargain from failed movements but the longer big deals take the more likely the trade period goes to sh#t.
you would reckon Crows are in the ears of all likely fallout contenders. Will need to wait for the last 5 minutes of wednesdayWould this be the most awkward trade period?
