It started last year when they prioritized all their assets for Jagga Smith > Houston. Then letting TDK walk for a nice compo and Curnow has been known to be leaving for a couple of months now with Carlton being pretty laissez-faire about the entire thing.

With Cripps 31 next year they don’t really have a choice.

Should be going harder if anything else but suspect they’ll also lose Sam Walsh next year.

Cody Walker next year who likely goes pick 1 and his brother Arli is coming down the the F/S pipeline who many good judges that have seen him play for Echuca in the Murray Goulburn Football League claim is even better than Cody.

Looking towards the Pre-Season Supplimentary pick, I'd be down for a cheeky look at Ben Hobbs (should he get delisted). Off a rough year, but he's a pretty solid ground ball winner and I wouldn't be too surprised if there is potential for off-field improvement, seeing Essendon don't strike me as a club in a good place with their fitness and strengthening group.

I feel like Port were a little too happy to move him on, thinking they'd get a bounty. This then backfired and they'd burnt the bridge so had to let him go when he chose differently to their plans.
