I'm offended by snoop dogg. I'd like to live in a better world than the one he has made his fortune promoting. Culturally obscene performer who is not at all suitable in a setting like he is being given.

A disaster own goal by the AFL. It's obviously a very small echo chamber of decision makers who thought this was a good idea.
Andrew Dillon has the final say. It should all be slated to him. The bloke that's supposed to be driving the inclusion thing. Most AFL players have better decision making skills than Dillon.

Very good kick of the footy, id love to see him move through our midfield but he's a very capable half back.

Might mean an Edwards/Ryan or both might be out.
TBH there's not many HBFers I would chase right now. Our defense is overflowing with good young players.

He would need to be a substantial upgrade to those guys for me. (unless we have plans to move on a Hinge, or Laird)

He could be on we look to move inside, because yeah on the face of it he's not really a need.

If we want a depth KPF to replace Burgess next year, would it be worth kicking the tires on Harry Lemmey? Was at one point the next big thing, then fell off a cliff in his draft year.

Had a few big days in the VFL if his stats are anything to go by. Out of contract, and hasn't cracked the AFL side yet so would likely come pretty cheap (particularly in a firesale).

Full disclosure; I've literally not seen him kick a ball since he was drafted, so his stats are all i'm going off.

I'm not sure if StKilda's no more Mr Nice Guy at the trade table is gonna work..... They demand all they want but at the end of the day when a player wants out and to go to a specific club not much you can do about it.

AFL player Management have already said they are the most difficult club to deal with.

I see that SOS has made an immediate impact at his new club.

The problem for them is that they will be blinded by the success of retaining NWM and by the time they realize that SOS is a dud, their list will be destroyed.

When TDK signs they'll be paying 20% of their cap to 2 players.

They'll soon find out how well the Stars and Scrubs strategy works out in terms of W/L

Someone on here a few weeks ago mentioned McVee was looking to get to Adelaide, not sure if to us or just the city.

Edit: looks like Cal brought it up previously, his partner is from here.
easy replacement at port for Jed McEntee, hardly need to change any letters

No thanks. That's exactly what Burgess was.

We're better off developing T.Murray and Welsh

Ergh, I just realised the NWM news means we are probably back in on Draper.

What's the opposite of a Silver Lining?
Should just put an offer for Dodson when he's out of contract. ROB still has a couple years left in him.

I have hope for T Murray, but have to be honest, am really not seeing it with Welsh.

Hope im wrong, but cant see him pushing his way into the side.
Is this not his first year in the league. Give him a few years, especially as he is a KPF. He could be like Worrell who needed a couple of years to get the right attitude and work ethic to really make the most of his talent. If after next year he has not put together a few strong SANFL games then you could start worrying but give the youngest a break.

Willing to give him another year to develop, im just not seeing the explosive traits or obvious talent shining through. I mean hes spent 2 years in our SANFL and been largely invisible from what ive seen.

My worry is he was a classic over developed 15 year old with an AFL name. And when the bodies got bigger his talent lessened.

Happy to totally be wrong with Welsh, just feel like we should get another option encase this is him, and all hes ever going to be.

Shit sandwich.
I'm conflicted here. I get that the AFL are considering changes to the ruck rules which could make ROB effectively redundant. Draper is a UFA so no cost apart from $'s providing we don't bring in an FA. But Draper is coming off an Achilles rupture. Surely he's a significant injury risk. Is McAndrew a viable long term replacement next year?
