Lets see if Kelly nominates us first. I'm not so sure he's coming tbh.
And it's ours.
No Goldstein
No Preuss
Brown in the ruck
= Complete cluster f***
= No1 draft pick.
No chance we play Brown in the ruck.
Would be complete madness.
Surely it would be ours?

Collingwood in 1999 had 84.82. We currently have 84.81. That will obviously change on Saturday and maybe it'll even be irrelevant on Saturday.
Collingwood played in back-to-back grand finals three years later too.Collingwood in 1999 had 84.82. We currently have 84.81. That will obviously change on Saturday and maybe it'll even be irrelevant on Saturday.
Take 'em out for dinner with Doug Wade and Barry Davis.Good luck with getting Josh and Dusty if we get the spoon. Why would they leave potential flag winning clubs to come to the one that's come last (assuming money isn't the onny thing).
We are clearly the best bottom side ever.
Not true. They finished last in 1993 and took Darren Gaspar with #1.Someone rang up the ****** this morning and said that along with the Swans we are the only two clubs to have not got a No 1 Draft pick since the first Draft via a Wooden Spoon.
I believe we are, since Goddard went to * and they picked up McGrath, the only remaining club never to have had a #1 pick play for them.
Us and the two SA sides, unless I'm missing someone.

Since 200 thought they've almost all been at least good players. Watts has been no better than decent on the whole, McCartin isnt looking great, and Boyd might have peaked in last year's GF, Kreuzer's had a bad run with injury but a good chance for AA ruck this year (and jiminy, the top 10 from '07 isn't much to write home about). All of them KPFs; let's pass on Brander. An interesting list of players. All considered at one point to be the best young player in the country, but maybe only Riewoldt around 09/10 was ever considered the best player in the country (even then Gaz jnr or Judd probably had him covered).
Only one Brownlow Medallist - Adam Cooney
5 Club captains - Murphy, Goddard, Scully, Hodge, Riewoldt
Premiership players - Hodge x4, Banfield x2, Boyd
300 games - Goddard, Hodge, Riewoldt
B&Fs - Gibbs, Murphy, Goddard, Swallow, Deledio x2, Hodge x2, Johnstone, White, Gaspar, Riewoldt x6, Banfield
Seriously, take out Riewoldt and Hodge and it's not an amazing collection of names.
That would be the UNDERSTATEMENT of the CENTURY,Pretty sure Stibbard wanted Selwood but was overruled due to Selwood's knee injury & Laidley wanting Hansen . What a colossal f*** up.
Going by wins the best since 1990 was the Brisbane Lions in 1998. After playing finals the year before, they had 5.5 wins with 75.8%. Their next 6 years went 4th, 6th, 1st, 1st, 1st and 2nd.
If we're talking ever, it's Collingwood in 1976. After playing finals the year before, they had 6 wins with 86.4%. Their next 5 years went 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, and 2nd.
If we lose on Saturday, we'd have played finals the year before with 5 wins and a percentage in the low to mid 80s. I wonder what our next 5/6 years will be?
PS: Both Brisbane in 1998 and Collingwood in 1976 sacked their coach and appointed someone who had already coached a premiership.
That list is exactly why playing for draft picks is a fools game.
I think draft testing and watching is far better than in prior decades.
Getting 1 means you can pick exactly what you want/need.
There could be a stand out we miss out on by getting number 2 (nothing certain of course)
