Will he play seniors? I can't seem to fit him into my side.

B: Sanderson Scarlett Rooke
HB: Milburn Harley Enright
C: Wojcinski Ling Kelly
HF: Haynes Graham Kingsley/Mooney
F: Chapman McCarthy Johnson
FOLL: King, Corey, Ablett

INT: Bartel, Moloney, Playfair, Riccardi

Spriggs would be the first drop midfielder. Someone will get injured at some stage, we have had a pretty good run in recent years (or we just play them all injured ;)).

Makes you wonder how Lonergan, Callan, Mackie, Hunt, Slade and Gardiner will ever get a game. Especially when Rahilly, D. Johnson and Loats get their token selections.

I really hope Spriggs can earn a regular spot in the seniors next year, especially after another full pre-season under his belt.

I totally agree. He was so good that first year. Hopefully he can get back to his best!

I would certainly have Spriggs in my best 22. I havent gone through and done one but I know he would be in it. I have been a big rap for this kid since I saw him play in the TAC Cup GF a few years back. We cant forget this was his first season back from a serious knew reconstruction, its always difficult. He showed in the Wiz Cup what he is capable of.

He better have a decent year otherwise he probably wont be with us in 2005
With only one year remaining on his current contract, you're right Sammy D, next year will be make or break time for Spriggs.

Spriggsy will be in our best 22 next year don't worry about that. History has shown that when he's fit he plays. The question is will he improve dramatically? For us to make the eight next year players like Spriggs and Corey have to become very good AFL players. They are now into their fifth year. I expect big things from Spriggsy next year after he got through this year OK.

Joel took a step forward this year again. He is now Geelong's prime pure midfielder, that is, opposition clubs target him as the main midfielder each week. Ling, probably our best midfielder, is used also as a tagger. Enright has been moved to the back flank. Ablett and Chappy tend to spend quite a few chunks of time in the forward half of the ground. Kelly, Spriggs, and Bartel have been in and out of the team. Joel is the only midfielder that I can think of that has spent the entire season as a full time pure midfielder.
Joel had a blinder of a start to the season, but seemed to drift off towards the end of the year...a sign of tiredness and inconsistency. Joel probably needs to work on his consistency the most. If he can be a solid contributor week in week out, I feel our midfield will be off for the better.

I'd probably be the most dissapointed person ever if Spriggzy didn't get back up to his best again, I think if he does he will be a top player in a few years to come I'm just hoping the Caters will keep him for another few years when his contract ends next year so hopefully he comes out and plays his best next year. I don't know how I'd handle watching him play at another club:(
CUMON SPRIGGZY!!!!! show them how it's done!
