This incident with Brett Burton breaking the 'players code' and the subsequent screaming from Port Adelaide supporters about him being a coward has me thinking.
What is considered 'squealing'? Did you dob your friends in at school to the teacher or to your boss at work when you saw something or call the cops when you saw a crime being committed? Would the same people who complain about squealing sit back and do nothing if they saw the neighbours house being burgled because it is 'squealing'? Or is that OK?
Personally if I saw a crime being committed I would call the cops (or if they asked me if I saw anything I would tell them), does it make me a squealer? And by crime I don't mean if I saw someone doing burnouts or something harmless like that. It's the minor things I wouldn't bother with, we have a few dobbers at work who run off the the boss if they see something minor and it's annoying as hell.
Where do you draw the line?
