Binge watched the first 5 episodes last night although after the first 2 episodes did a lot of fast forwarding thru the interviews and talking stuff. I find that sort of stuff very tedious and especially when there are seppos involved.
The games were good, I totally agree with the rock, paper, scissors for the shape picking. Glad other had that thought. Think the next episodes drop on Wednesday

Watched an ep and half. Enjoying it. I like the mother and son.

432 is a douchebag.
Why didn’t they vote him out first ?
200 got eliminated for what? Talking? Trying to buddy up?
Dumb as.
432 are the type that’ll stab, talk crap and undermine you where ever you go

And he chooses triangle to save his ass. What a prick.
What a suave prick. His group chose all the shapes.
Should’ve voted him out first time

I don't remember 200.
What I did find funny is that 374 was mentioning to people about wanting to go home and then looked shocked when he was eliminated. Turn it up.

How funny was 130 getting eliminated immediately after getting the advantage. Most logical choice in a game show. Of course you’d do that.

Not going to be an arse, but it’s obvious that there’s racial alliances.
229- Phalisia could’ve voted out the other alliances but chose the two easiest/non challenging guys. Would’ve chosen 179 - Chaney and that crew.

Geez, marble game was rough.

The pair arguing were bloody donuts. Spite does funny things to people. The prayer was lame and you could see people showing their disdain.

Elimination in the dorm was intense!

Mai and the smart British girl with the green hair are ones who I would like to win. And Trey of course.

I watched all 4 episodes that dropped today with the finale next week btw, so not sure if you're up to date.

Hope Mai wins. Feel she was unfairly called out by the other players. They all agreed to play 'fairly' on the bridge. Then Ashley/278 decides not not jump initially, so 301/Trey decides to take one for the team.

Then they have this big moral grandstanding afterwards about the dice game. Bunch of hypocritical campaigners. Hardly any of them would last a day on Survivor.

The ****ing gall and stupidity of the dumb 399 lady. You’re playing marbles. It’s meant to be thrown. Males v Females don’t exist in this game. What a shithead. Well done on 065 guy holding his ground. Would go ape at her after the camera goes away.
What else could’ve been done? Throw it furthest? Honestly couldn’t believe her.

I have only watched half of the next ep. Currently selecting the order.

Yeah I didn't understand this whole thing. They both spited each other. I am sure something could have been worked out. Very dumb.

The glass bridge was fun to watch and the plan for everyone to make one 50/50 decision was genius. Obviously the one player who refused to follow the plan ended up getting eliminated in the next game which providec the much needed karma.

The gift box game in the last episode was a shite idea. Could have created something better than that to thin the field out some more. Kudos for 2 players being on the ball and working out who picked them for elimination.

Now we get the dinner game with the final 3 which is pretty much a vote on one player who gets eliminated.

No idea what the lady’s angle was..
How would you have left the game to chance? It’s marbles. The beauty of the game is no one shot is the same. The weight, the timing is never the same.
She was being a smart arse, got exposed for it, then had the audacity to say her ball got in first even though they had equal amount of shots.
Imagine losing a chance at 4.56 million for that crap. Would’ve been livid

Show does so well for the viewers to be so attached to contestants and feel like they’ll win only for them to be eliminated.
The women did really well in equally deciding the numbers from 22 men and 9 women to 11 men and 9 women.

Trey falling sucked. He never stood a chance at 3.
Then get introduced to these contestants that you never have seen.

Starting to be annoyed at Mai. Bluffing her way through.
TJ giving her the 20 bib was frustrating when she was backstabbing and talking shit about him not even moments earlier.

Thanks for clearing this up. I just switched it off after they all cheered her and then passed her and continued with the plan she wouldn't follow. Read all the spoilers to make sure she was gone before I'd continue. What a ****wit. You overtake and have a 50% chance of going through. Don't and you're gone next time anyone chooses someone to boot and wants an easy target. Disappointed Trey didn't try and convey this message to her instead of being a noble dill.

I did laugh when TJ fell through. His big speech about only needing to make 1 correct choice and the hope built, then bam.

Actually thought the trust circle was the right idea. Have to say kudos and ****ing hell to 451. Guessed correctly TWICE! And then didn’t get guessed for putting down the gift box. That’s epic.

Annoyed though Mai and Ashley couldn’t vote each other or have a game where it could’ve got spiteful.

Come to think of it, this series hasn’t been spiteful at all. It’s 4.56 mil on the line. Mai has been the most spiteful of them all, but they’re all so dumb and bright eyed to see it. She has been first in nearly every game and have gone against the group every time.

The game has been perfectly played by her. Everyone TRUSTED her the most, when really that’s the person you’d want to kick out. Just too trustworthy to be true.

Yeah I am off her now. She hasn't done much to be likable in a long time, though, she has played the game brilliantly. So credit to her for that.

Eps 7,8 & 9
Bridge game was brutal. Player 278 being a selfish bitch irked both my wife and I. Absolute bullshit not moving at all. Was nice she got eliminated later on.

I thought their idea for the dice game was fair, interesting that Mai did her own thing.

Circle of trust was intense. I wanted Mai to go but she has nerves of steel.

I hope Matt wins.

Up to date now before the final episode dropping tomorrow l think.

Its a UK show with UK production yet its totally American centric. I understand a requirement for casting was being able to speak English but after conducting a worldwide audition, surely they could have found more of a mix. Was there even any players originating from Asia? I cant recall any.

Also wondering if a game or two might be contrived. Red light/Green light, how do you determine if someone has moved as no one can stay frozen like a statue as its impossible. Then you have the bridge game, where in theory producers could wait until a player landed on one of the two new spots ahead before either deciding to “open the hole” or leave them standing.

In terms of gameplay:

What Ashley did on the bridge game refusing to move ahead of Trey when it was her turn was a dirty move. If l was Trey l would have sat down as he was never going to survive continuing on. But the kicker was that no one called her out on it, and when Mai turned on her in the dice game, not only did Ashley herself go down the righteous route, everyone else seemed to forgot about her treachery and labelled Mai as the bad guy. Very glad Ashley was eliminated later.

In terms of the dice game, smart to come up with the idea of self nominating for elimination. Odds are in your favour.

Did Phil have that intuition on the trust game being able to identify the person putting the box on his desk (twice) or was it just blind luck?

Also in the marble game, the way that old man acted towards the deaf signing lady was terrible

I haven’t watched any of this show but one of the contestants said that during red light/green light they waited about 40 minutes between each green light and they weren’t allowed to move or change positions at all during that time.

I still haven't finished the bridge episode as the last player I cared about lost. They've done a poor job in terms of who they have screen time to from the start. Is there anyone left that really featured in the first half of the season? I want the dude with the adopted kids to win now but he was only really introduced in the last episode.

I get with the number of players, we can never get to know them all, but they should have highlighted some early that made it to the end. And get some people from outside of the UK and north America (more than a couple of token aussies). It's an Asian show ffs, get some Asians.

Exactly.
The emphasis on the cocky POS 432 was annoying. Barely got through the top 100.
The British competitors were actually good to watch.
Where did the bearded guy come from? Didn’t have any clue until the last 1-2 episodes

I get what you are trying to say, but from someone who has watched Survivor a few too many times, I can say that I hate a winners edit. I'd rather not know in the first episode who is going to be at the end or win. It's only become apparent in the last few episodes that it's probably Mai.

It was good to learn about the other characters, the ones that did not make it anywhere and given them some personality.
