Have they or will they relay the turf, I think that is something that needs an overhaul, otherwise a nice little boutiqu stadium, perfect for AFL Football and the GC in general.

Where will we play home finals when the time comes though?

They've only just laid the turf down last week. It's been a patch of dirt for the past however many months.

While the exterior looks finished there still could be a lot of work to be done on the interior, or during planning the stadium they were really conservative with their estimates.

Also they've only just started work on expanding a portion of the carpark. It looks ready, but it's still far from it it'd think, in a 'seating-25000 people' sense.

I like it, looks great. Should help you sell memberships having a good looking home base.

Speaking of i noticed that on your website it states that you have 11,000 members now, which i think is a pretty reasonable number to have so far, and if you could get to 20,000 i think it'd be a great result. I red somewhere that the Titans are looking for 8,000 members this year which kinda amazes me, i think the culture of buying memberships are so different between the codes.

Anyway all the best on your first year, cant wait to see you in the real season and im sure you can help spread the AFL code up north

I actually worked at one of the Melbourne stadiums, and to be honest there's a lot more to them than you might expect..
This stadium looks like it'll be fantastic though, and hopefully I get to go up and see my Bombers run out on it sometime!
