There have been 70 scores of 140 - 69 were not 100 point wins.
There were 5 in 1972. There haven't been any since 2007.
Only 1 score of 140 has been a losing score.

1,469 times, which includes 238 of the 256 100-point wins.

Started entering on the computer soon after you could have such a thing at home. All the computer knows are all the match scores 1897-2011, then you just have to ask the right questions.

With the usual disclaimer (i.e. it may be complete cack) I make it 40 wins 13 losses and a draw for the team with a 6 day break (when the other team had more than 6) in 2011.

I'm not set up to verify whether its cack or not but the alltime figures suggest no significant difference but which were the teams in 2011?
In 1909 round 6 was played on Saturday 5 June. All teams then played round 7 on Monday 7 June. The only noticeable difference was that average scores were 7 points higher on the Monday.

Although without knowing who had the shorter and longer breaks there seems to be no significant disadvantage. Get the figures to the League and the clubs and maybe some more rounds could be got in with shorter turnaround times for everybody. Might keep the draw wingeing down some.

Whenever I've compiled stats on this in the past, it's (the disadvantage) always appeared to be a fallacy. Since it involves only selected games you'd need to analyse ladder positions etc. to ensure no bias has been introduced. It's also possible teams modify their preparations with a shorter lead-in in order to mitigate the perceived disadvantage. But over a large sample, you'd still expect the handicap to be evident, if it existed. There's an argument to be made that a shorter break might actually work in favour of a team coming off a bad loss and eager to atone.
Harking back to when the night series was conducted on Tuesday evenings during the regular season and clubs managed to field most of the regulars gives cause for wonder, yet playing three games in eight days was never raised as a major issue...
They players are fitter. Football is all they do. They are on the ground less time. 5 days between matches would enable everyone to play each other twice from the middle of March to the first week of September. Pre-season cup could be eliminated to make for more room and some breaks later in the season - interchange increased. TV stations would probably go for it but I feel it will never happen.
There is the perception that 34 rounds is just too long. I suspect less teams or conferences to enable all playing each other twice is much more likely eventually.
