Do you get all this info from aflstats.tk or is it all manually entered into Excel?

I've manually entered it into an Excel file collecting it from places like www.afl.has.it, The Advertiser and the AFL website. I've got the same sort of info for the SANFL from 1992.

you can stick all the collingwood stats in the "peter bell" and "byron schammer" colomn, which counts numerous possesions accross half back that mean jack .

That's what I thought, but I was saying that's the only information I have got in that regards. Possibly the closest I could get is Hit outs but of course there are many variables in that area. For example, interpretation of hit outs would have varied - between 1993 and 1997 the avg. no of hit outs per game was 39 - both teams combined! This year the average is 62 and for the West Coast/Collingwood game it was 56 - West Coast 38 and Collingwood 18.
