wat i have found works quite well..is one good player i.e cox white fraser..another good ruckmen..around 70...such as hudson..and then a couple of ok ruckmen(like around 140-150k) and dont waste a trade on ruck all year
the rucks isnt the be all end all..so that way if i select these players i can be confident i can use trades only on centres backs (usually leave them the regularly the asme) and forwards because between teh centres and the forwards is where dreamteam is won

no one wants to waste a trade or even 2 to upgrade a ruckmen or replaced an injured or suspended one...thats my strategy neway
hopefully works for u
obviously different ppl like different strategys

I usually go a cheap value ruckman who will be on the way up such as Simmonds and the other is usually a cheap ruckman who will make a bit of money such as King or Leunberger ect. Then the bench is just made up of cash cows who are I think will play quite a few games such as Hampson and Gardiner.

Cox and Simmonds is perfect IF (and its a big IF) Simmo can produce some decent scores, which i think he will. At some point he will reach about 300k and if the timing is right you can jump on another ruck if you wish.

what about white and simmonds, then jump on cox, when he hopefully goes down

Going to have Cox and Simmo from onset.....

Cox is just another midfielder scoring wise so crazy no to, provides another captain alternative!

Bench will be Gardiner and Meeson, as long as their preseason is OK!!

yeah, essentially I like to have 1 ruck who I know I will keep for the year.

I'm going with McIntosh this year as last year Cox took a while to hit his strides and as such I could have traded into him later on.

Next up, I grab an obvious up and comer, last year was Ryder, this year I'll prolly lock in Kreuzer in a bench spot. Who knows, if he does what Ryder did, he can replace one of the next two, otherwise he'll be used in a deal to upgrade one of the next two to Cox.

Then the next two, generally these are cheap rucks who I feel are going to improve this year.

Simmonds seems the obvious choice for one of these.
Laycock, I feel should have a better year than last, he's young, and should also get more responsibility this year, so he's my other choice.

Basically, I'll wait a couple of rounds, until there's some other young up and comer who's played their first two games well, trade my most expensive cash cow out to him, and an other ruck up to Cox. Then just lock them in like that for the season.

(Unless as like last season, I end up having 3 high scoring rucks, then I'll cash-cow another out - I mean, it doesn't pay to have salary on the bench.)

I think Cox was injured at the start of last year so probably why he took some time to come along

Looks pretty good!! ;)

That's the current Warne Dawgs line up!! haha.. but it has changed 25 times already.. why not another!?

I've got Cox, Gardi with hampson and probs meesen as reserves

My mate did really well with some pretty average ruckmen in darcy and huddo so its not integral 2 have 2 major guns if u pick up slack in other positions

Hoping for around 60 from gardiner anything more is a bonus (i'll just have to pray to mecca he's stays fit all year!!!!)

Gardiner has so many rucks to compete wit at STK
KING,KOSI,M.CLARKE,
Simmonds and coz are the ones u want to start wit.
Kruezer and berger will be my emergencies
(meesen adn T.Cartlidge could be fine picks though expecting T.Cartlidge to be number 2 ruck at Richmond)thoguhts!! and if simmo gets injured he may be number 1
