All the best Strats with the recovery.
Shoe, if there's ever an opportunity for you mate, now is it.
Quote from a Hawks player on Twitter: "We don't know how long Stratts is out for. The docs are still looking at the scans."Quote from The Final Siren on One HD..."PCL, 6 - 8 weeks. Not as bad as first thought"
It's what appeared to be a severe hyper-extension of the knee thats got me really concerned. That just can't be good.
Happened just in front of us at the G last night and then I watch it on After The Game last night when they replayed it over and over again. Hard to watch. Tough kid too! Hardly showed any sign of emotion.
His absence will surely be a factor. And Murphy, Schoenmakers, or whoever, will really need to step up to fill his role.
Fingers crossed the results are better than it looked.
Stratts has been a fantastic contributor for us since his first game. Having him out injured is very doomy and gloomy given how ordinary our defence has been since Croad's final bump on Selwood in the granny. What's with all the doom and gloom?
For some here it might as well be. He's not the Messiah (nor a very naughty boy) but he has become a walk-up start for every game. It's not the end of the world.![]()
The cobbler has been injured and was listed as 1 week away last week, so he might still be some time off before seniors. All the best Strats with the recovery.

Not disputing it is a PCL however, that was not a standard garden variety PCL.
That was an horiffic injury and I have no doubt that there are going to be a lot more factors at play, other tendons and soft tissues, rather than just recovering from the PCL in isolation.
Get him 100%, if that means he doesnt play again this year then so be it.
Ryan Schoenmakers has to stand up and be the replacement, if he isnt, then it is likely that there is a dark cloud forming over Schoey's long term future at Hawthorn.
I really hope I am wrong but my spidey senses are tingling and not in a good way.
Here's the truth SG.... None of us know how long he'll be out. We are merely speculating. In fact, no one will be able to tell you exactly. The doctors treating him will probably give him a ballpark date, but even that may be off.so whats the go here? some are saying he is out for the season, some are saying he'll be back by round 10. he is my fav hawks player and definitly soured the victory. one of the most importnat players in our team no doubt and fill leave a big gap. i reckon give scheoy a chance to see how much hes developed and if he bombs out, give the gig to murphy

We should all just sit tight and wait until the club release further news, because I'm sure not even they know yet.
