Opinion Straw Poll - "Banter thread" with West Coast?

Whilst I have a great deal more respect for West Coast than I do North, I still think the official banter threads should stay exclusive to our largest rivals.

I have too much respect for their supporters, after the Hird and Sheedy thing.
How do I insult one?
"Hah! I don't in anyway admire your teams ability to go from wooden spoon to top 4 in a year!"

You don't necessarily need to insult them bpb.

It may be called the "banter thread", but really, it's just an official thread to allow both sides to discuss everything without fear of the banzhammer.

It's essentially why we go to the main board, except that when we get a thinly veiled troll like HAD or UTG, everybody's allowed to point out their stupidity.

I love West Coast as a club, don't really feel the need to insult them (even the drug stuff doesn't do much for me), but I do enjoy speaking to a few of their supporters openly.

That's what I'd use the thread for, personally.

Well on that basis Kong I would change my vote from no to yes.. I just don't have a lot of malice for WCE and at times have a lot of respect. I think they gave a great send off to Hird and Sheedy and have always been good sports no matter who is 'waving'

Not sure if i qualify to vote but id endorse it from the eagles end. Then again i see you have some sort of 'official' banter system going on, but speaking from someone who rarely ventures onto the Essendon board id get involved.

Agree, threads on our board should be reserved for important stuff like player threads, reviews and... competitions.
