If Crowley is rubbed out for an extended period for doing something stupid, surely he could "do a hammy" "suffer OP" "break and ankle on a suitcase" "have crippling depression" or something similar for the good of the club...

We have principles. That is the type of thing clubs like eagles would try on.

We wouldn't have a sub that could come in and get a game .
A more pertinent question is if he was rubbed out for twelve months, would he still be included in our salary cap.
Given an upgraded rookie player receives a pay rise it could be a strong reason not to promote one.

Are Port going to be permitted to bring in Rookies if they get a couple of players suspended?

IMO I really hope they don't, they knew the risks picking up those players.
