Can't see Spurs signing him either. He probably would have joined you guys if you could have offered him CL football.
Nor can I. I would love it to happen but I doubt we'd go for his wages.

We tend to buy young as well.

3 and a half hour drive aint a short trip away.
That's Geelong to Echuca. I wouldn't travel that far for shopping for example.

I would take Zlatan if I knew he would win us a league title. Him up top with Alexis wide and Ozil feeding him would be top notch.

Big risk at his age, his ego and his wages. Interesting however though.
Confident Ozil will stay?

He'd probably would be after some sort of assurance that investment in a title charge was imminent. Not going to be easy next season either.

blid barely mention that xhaka is off to arsenal for 35 mil pounds. like legit one line.

chelsea may offer ake to gladbach so they can recall christensen early.

Would rather keep Ake and let Christensen develop there for another season

Jatz and Fryer Tuck, thoughts on Kante's comments about potentially moving in the Summer?
I think we're smart enough to know that no valuable player leaves when we're at an all time peak. We'll see how next season goes in regards to him and the Club, but unless a player wants to leave then surely we won't sell. I can't see anyone wanting to leave us right now.

Kante has to be worth upwards of 30 mil, easily. He's contracted until 2019 as well, so his buyout clause wouldn't exactly be cheap.

Verdict: He's not going anywhere. Sky Sports have pretty much twisted what he said anyway. Not sure where this speculation is coming from.

To add to that, we have a lot more money laying around then what most people give us credit for. Our owners are god awful rich, there's a huge sum of money coming in from merch sales, memberships, and tickets. Don't forget we're getting a certain sum also for which position we finish at the end of the season. Playing Champions League next season, we're in the International Champions Cup, we get paid just for turning up for that and then some for winning matches and if we win the tournament, if you want to call it that.

What ever anyone wants to throw at him, we can match it 100%, at the end of the day it's up to the Club to release him and i really doubt that will happen. CR won't allow one of his best performing players to be released just like that.

All that doesnt matter if the player wants out. When a player wants to leave he inevitably does.

I haven't read Kantes comments but of course if bigger clubs show interest which im sure they will his head will get turned for sure.

all kante waid was he didnt know what would happen next season. dean ashton called him daft. rude dean.

it's not an unreasonable thing to say. he doesn't know what happens next season. he probably will, but leicester could get an absolutely mental offer and sell him.

I don't know. Have heard those sort of quotes hundreds of times. Normally always ends up the same way.

If I had to bet, just based on those quotes I'd say he'll be elsewhere.

I don't think a sum of money for a player outweighs team success though, who are we possibly going to replace Kante for? He's one of the in-form players midfielders in the world right now. Everything he's ever wanted he's got it at Leicester, he's Football is peaking right now and he's playing Champions League next season, cannot for the life of me see him leave. It's a massive nothing story, just like the Vardy story's we saw.

But Leicester arent going to be a perennial CL team. So sticking around for one season of CL which Leicester cant win anyways or moving to PSG who always play CL and are actually a chance to win it.

It's an easy decision for a player. Once a players makes his mind up to leave it usually always ends the same way too.

There's a Caen, former club of Kante, supporter on the FoxesTalk forum (LCFC forum) who stated he's not a player to leave a Club to chase a bigger contract, i just can't see it happening

depends how big we're talking i guess.

i fully agree that he won't leave. vardy won't either cos there's no value for other clubs. mahrez i feel is the only one likely, but we're talking like 40 mil at this stage. at least.
