Apparently we're competing with Marseille for his signature. Decent competition but I think we can pull it off.

I'm not that keen on Kim. I guess he'd be alright if he barely played, much like Wood.

Gorre is just trying to get a better deal with Swansea. Absolutely no way he'd move to us.

Decent competition. Marseille is one of the big clubs, but of course, all things considered, English money is where it is going to be, especially next season. In terms of growth, we'll offer more to him. One crucial factor is that Marseille missed out on CL, so it should be even easier. We should get it done, so fingers crossed.

Well, fair enough, but I we have the resources to make it successful. If he can actually use his height, unlike Wood, then I think we've got ourselves a sweet option on the bench. We've got some great mix and match options. If we're not getting Okazaki (and at £8m, I'm not too keen), than I think Kim would be good.

I'd say you're right about that, but the question would be if he would see more game time? For us, I don't think I can see it. I think he'll spend a season with the U21s. Sunderland on the other hand... could be possible. The thing is though, Swansea's academy is Tier 2. So his performances are coming against the U21s of Cardiff, Millwall, and Colchester, not the top tier clubs. What this is perhaps suggesting to me is that he's more likely to go on loan early in the season, perhaps to a promotion contender, or even against relegation battlers... oh crap. You know what, I think he could be coming Sunderland's way.

I don't think he'll do enough to crack into the Swansea lineup this season, I think he could go on loan to get proper experience, just to see if he can truly handle it.

United 'preparing' 20m pound bid for Jerome Boateng - Independent.

Lindegaard will be United no.2 next season. Duncan Castles (more commonly known as Indykaila) has said United are bidding for Jasper Cillesen which means it won't happen and Valdes will be no.1 next year.

united want a straight swap for Ramos.

£11 million for Cech, better than the 6-7m some said we'd definitely get:D.

Will be sad to see him go
It was 5 - 6 million...
You could have gotten 8 million for Cech in January easily but Jose refused to sell. You'll now only get about 5-6 million for him unless he signs another deal.

Surprised Cech gas decided

As opposed to you guys who said he would never move to Arsenal.

Yep, i never thought I'd see it happen. But happy to accept and admit I was wrong;):D.

Sad stuff, but great respect from my club to one of its legends

I dont think Arsenals silly enough to waste their time chasing Cech.

I'll send you one of my wife's cakes to cheer you up.

His release clause is 21.5m, so that's obviously not true.

Yep, and last time I checked Liverpool didn't have Moyes managing them so no need to pay more than the release.

Bild - Arsenal 'preparing' 40m euro bid for Aubameyang.
Yes please. Make it happen Arsene. Aubameyang and Cech in this window and we'll win it (completely accepting personal bias, of course;))

That bastard killed my UT side last night...

Still think you need one more top class midfielder to win the league should you sign Cech & Aubameyang.

I won't believe Milan will get anyone till I see him at a bunga bunga party

They missed everyone this far

They are throwing money at everyone though. Soon enough some of it will stick.

It sounded like Martinez was a certainty for Milan a week ago. Now he seems to be an Atleti player.

Milan just isn't the destination it once was.
