I dont think his worth goes down. It's not a knee injury where he might not come back the same player. You are still buying the 3rd best footballer on the planet.

If we sell him it will still be for ****loads of money, particularly because both Real and Barca want him which means a bidding war.

Of course it goes down and by a bit. Clubs aren't just buying Suarez. They get the sideshow and now the ban.

You then add that he get a 6 months plus ban if he does something again and with his history you would expect it.

I rate him, just not at that price.

He was an alright player in a team that got relegated.

Not to mention, he's ex Leeds scum ;)

An alright player who got 7 goals. Goals is what we need, and more depth in midfield.

Yeah.. still haven't forgiven him, but a couple of goals will help. ;)

Also as I know you're concerned about all players' medicals, he's passed his. ;)

Id say it definitely goes down if their is only one suitor for his signature.

But their isnt. Real and Barca both want him. They are huge rivals and seriously Suarez can turn the game in La Liga. If Real get him. Bale Suarez Ronaldo. Game over for the forseeable future. If Barca get him, Neymar Suarez Messi. Game over for the forseeable future.

So his value doesnt drop cos both clubs will one up the other until we have the price we want.

No way does Barca come in with 50 million. We say 60. They say no way, cos of the ban and his reputation. Real bid 60. You think Barca then goes away. They come back with a new bid. So on and so forth.

I very much doubt there will be a bidding war. No club (yes even Barca and Madrid) will spend 70mil on a player that's going to miss a quarter of the season while also knowing that if he slips up again, the ban could be half a season.

The risk is huge with Suarez.

No it won't happen. No club is stupid enough to get into a war for a player who is a ticking time bomb and is serving a 4 month ban. Your more likely going to get both teams to convince Suarez to put in a transfer request and both do take it or leave it offers. These two clubs are smart and not stupid. They'll try to get him for as cheap as possible.

Snodgrass was a horror first part of the season then came good at the end.

Suarez interrupted start didn't mean too much last yr

I know you are not this deluded so don't play the troll game with me. He isn't worth 90m and he never was.

I think Liverpool should try and get a player and cash instead of a large sum. If Barca offered 25m and Alexis Sanchez you should take it.
 
The fact that Suarez can be transferred out is a saving grace for Liverpool. Next time he does it, it will be half a season.

Better to get the ticking time bomb off the list before he can do any more damage. Especially if Sanchez is part of any deal.
