Don't think thats the issue. I think the issue is whether top class players are genuinely interested in coming to Liverpool.

Sounds like wanted too much as others became interested. Be frustrating if we miss out on a good player for a few mil again. This is the window we should have been trying to be like Chelsea and just get shit done. If a player doesn't work out and we paid slightly overs for them, so be it. Don't think fans will be upset about them failing having a crack, it's more when we haggle over a few million and then end up signing an inferior player that pisses me off.

Good signing for you guys - I believe we've been linked to him in the past and that he can play as a CB as well? Wonder if he will be played in defence or midfield? With Reid, Tomkins and Collins as well as Spence, you guys have a bit of competition in the squad.

While I'm sure he will miss playing in the CL, the Premier League is a much more prestigious league and represents a big step up for him. I'm sure he's also getting a pay rise too which would help!

Think he's only on about 90k at Barca from reports. I think the fee would be more of an obstacle than the wage.
I don't think we'll get him, but I'm happy the club are at least looking in the right places.

Also said we (Liverpool) could be preparing another attempt at Lallana, Give up already Brendan! We can get better players for less outside of the UK.... Lallana is a good player don't get me wrong, but for over 25m
