Don't recall anyone saying it was a 'great deal'. Just that it wasn't a poor offer.

Maybe so, but some posters were indicating we should accept. Just don't see the logic in selling our best player when he is absolutely crucial to the success and direction of the club. Even if it were for a ridiculous sum of money and a (very good) player in return. As I said, Spurs found out last year that it doesn't always work out that way.

I dont believe any of this Suarez talk. Seriously if he was going to leave it would have been last summer. He has just had a career year, almost won the title and now we have delivered CL football back to Anfield which is what he craved the whole time. He seems pretty happy.

I think eventually he leaves for one of Barca or Real, but it wont be this summer.
