No issues mate with multi tasking and doing other things, as long as they don't become their main priority to the detriment of their footy.Bulldust. There is 168 hours in a week and spending 20 or 30 waking hours outside of that should be spent on something else that has nothing to do with footy.
I want blokes who can walk and chew gum at the same time on the field which means they have to be able to walk and chew gum off it. The 40-70 hours they are at the club or travelling interstate is enough hours in a week to concentrate on footy and footy club related activities. The key is the coaches and admin staff get them to do the right things in those 40-70 hours.
