Bulldust. There is 168 hours in a week and spending 20 or 30 waking hours outside of that should be spent on something else that has nothing to do with footy.

I want blokes who can walk and chew gum at the same time on the field which means they have to be able to walk and chew gum off it. The 40-70 hours they are at the club or travelling interstate is enough hours in a week to concentrate on footy and footy club related activities. The key is the coaches and admin staff get them to do the right things in those 40-70 hours.
No issues mate with multi tasking and doing other things, as long as they don't become their main priority to the detriment of their footy.

Bugger the Art of War, we have something better closer to home.

Any club worth its salt will clean out its no hopers, from the doorman to the head trainer to the captain.
Keeping no hopers in these positions, or any other positions, is the mark of the non successful club.
You have to weed out these people who breed an atmosphere of non professionalism.
They are only there for the bloody joke, for the social life, for the prestige, they are not there to win.
Our club is built on the values of strength, courage, loyalty, honour and a strong sense of unity.

I have no idea who the no hopers currently are, but I do know that we are paying people decent money to know.
Those people need to take responsibility for our results if they don't take action.
