You seem to only arc up at my posts, when for others it's just banter. Why the double standard?

While I'm at it, what is it with this stalker-like practice you have of announcing to the rest of the forum when I've "liked" or "lolled at" a post?

Does me offering a couple of little asterisks for your boy Cam fall into the category of trolling? I mean really, based on the absurdity of your claims that others were responsible for Green's failures, one could be excused for believing you were trolling those of us that are not so convinced of his greatness. I guess it just comes down to each person's perspective.

It seems a little irrational tho, that this triggers you to set about attacking my knowledge of the game, despite the fact you know SFA about my participation or involvement in it... perhaps that's something for you to deal with.

I hope you'll understand that despite your unquestionable worldliness, I'm gonna opt not to trust you when it comes to social media etiquette. I do appreciate the offer tho.

So to save mods and posters boredom , it's easy to put each other on ignore . Take care and goodbye

Nool C. and Bedford,
it's the off season, about ..cricket.

We need you both for Game 1, 2026. Shouting for the Swannies.
Save your energies for that.

Most bizarre thing about watching that live was after about twenty minutes after lunch you knew it wouldn't go into the third day. The only batsman that looked like they knew what to do and could hang around was Smith and he exposed the tail.
The standard of batting in the whole series has been appalling. No one has looked like they have anywhere near correct batting technique or any patience.
Not sure what to expect in Sydney ?

I know he’s only really shown a lot in the Big Bash lately - but Cooper Connelly is the most talented young batsman in the country.

Averages 46 in the Shield.

It’ll be such a shame if he becomes a T20 mercenary.
If Indian or Saudi money takes over the Big Bash, chances are....

Bow out gracefully like your mate Usman. I think this fella has you covered.

As discussed I'm not a cricket aficionado so will see myself out.

I wish Usman had bowed out gracefully …. instead of coming up with the absurd statement that he’s a victim of racism for being questioned over his decision to play golf (and hurt his back) the day before the Adelaide test.

Did you listen/read the entire segment? There was a lot more nuance and context than that.

He's been selfish

Yep, I read the whole statement.

And yes, there was some context and nuance.

But the underlying message was that he was treated differently at the selection table & in the press because he’s Muslim.

Rubbish - through his career, he he was dropped when out of form. Not because he’s Muslim.
And the scrutiny of his back injury was absolutely nothing to do with his religion. It was fair scrutiny of a 39 year old selected despite poor form & contributing nothing to an Ashes test due to injury that he may have carried into the game.

I like Uzzi. And he’s been a solid test cricketer. But I found that particular outburst needless victimhood & I think Jason Gillespie got it right when he called it a temper tantrum.
