Will be a beautiful day for footy in Sydney as we look to consolidate a top 8 spot and keep the slight window of top 4 open. If we want to do anything this September then this game we must win really... No ifs or buts. Fyfe and their small forwards the real danger. We have no JPK for two weeks in a row. Let's hope the mids keep on dominating without him. If the elite Swans show up then we should get this done pretty comfortably.

Also considering that this week's bulid up has been boring. I'd like to recall that Ross Lyon had a meltdown last year (or 2 years ago? Not too sure) about our COLA and blamed that for his club not being able to attract players. So GAGF Ross.

Looking at both teams we win easy
Yes, my thoughts exactly! If we don't, something will have gone terribly wrong and I just don't see it with our current team. They are on a mission!

I hope Heeney and Mills have big games today. Those two haven't really reached their potential this year ... this is the time to do it.

What are others looking forward to observing vs Freo?
Neale being a late out due to having gone surfing yesterday instead of media commitments.
Sinkers kicking 3.
Jones returning to his best.
Heeney returning to his best.
Hayward on their worst defender and getting 2 or 3.
Our mids developing continuity and runners trusting their teammates to win it and feed it out into space.
Papley being awesome.
We are a bit tall with Bud, Reid, Tipp and Sinkers. I guess that's why they went tall in defense. I'm confident Reid and Sinkers will be good. Hopefully Tipp and Buddy improve. (Wow, read that sentence again.)

Sorry for the intrusion. Have you got a link to this? Generally interested as it doesn't sound very Ross like.

Good luck today, you guys won't need it as you should win relatively easily in the end (we've struggled a bit in last quarters lately). Hopefully we can make it semi interesting.

It was in a post match presser. I don't have a link.

Meanwhile, Lyon was quick to share a joke when asked whether the club was interested in luring Sydney speedster Lewis Jetta their way.
Jetta's current deal at the Swans runs out at the end of the season and he's considering a move back home to Western Australia.
"Yeah, I was unaware, but we've got COLA [Cost of Living Allowance] given to us as well," Lyon joked.
"Everyone who is out of contract is coming.
"It's fantastic.
"I understand the question because he's ex-WA.
"But there are a lot of ex-WA guys and every time one of them is out of contract, we're targeting him."

Cooler than I thought it would be. Ruddy wind:(

We need this win. A good % would be nice too.

Go Swans!!
You've made the fatal mistake of trusting the weather forecasters. Now you'll have to go buy an ugly polyester club top that costs $5 to make and ship for $100. :straining:

It's been a long season.
Would be nice to click all around the field and win this effortlessly.

By 100 points.

50 points up at quarter time.

No injuries.

No problems.
