nah, probly not, but i guess it's possible that some local station might send a coupla blokes to the ground
and you'd need a crystal et, or similar, to pick up ANYTHING from a local station of the size it's likely to be
got any mates going? may as well tee them up to phone you and keep you posted
this is the "suck" side of the preseason
when your team is out of the main comp, which ours is after first round every year, you get nothing till the next day
look at last week ... we play port in sydney and i still got nothing til the next morning, i was switching between as many radio stations as i could, checked the internet from 10pm for an hour, and nuthin

Hmmm... on the Daily Telegraph, it said Kennelly was going to be playing tomorrow, but I don't see his name on the team's list. Odd.

Tomorrow night, Kennelly makes his first appearance in 2008 as the Swans take on Richmond in their NAB Challenge match at Narrandera.

I read today that Bird might be rested from tonights game. That's a great sign. Looks like they dont want him to over do things. Is in line for a Round 1 start based on Roosy's comments in the Age today. He was talking about how mature his body is. Reading between the lines = debut Round 1. Lets hope so.

paul roos is under afl investigation for apparently instructing his team, via a message through mcveigh in the last 2 minutes against hawthorn, to "not kick a goal"
afl says he's undermining the NAB Cup, not sure what else is being said
story will break tomorrow
roos apparently sent mcveigh on to replace bevan with 2 mins to go in the game, and told him to tell the team "go forward but don;t kick a goal"
he may as well have done it in code, by telling mcveigh "just play your normal game"
